DO NOT BUY! Don’t waste your money and time waiting for it (3 weeks for me). I tried it several times and only scratched the can creating metal shavings. Good idea, bad product. I’d give it less than 1 star if I could. Update: I tried returning this product and the return address is bonkers.
FIRST: you can do this with your good ol' hand crank can opener! Does what it should if you use it right! I recommend first lifting the pull tab of your can just a bit (helps you remove the top later). Then put the opener on and squeeze it ALL the way closed and keep it that way. This is crucial. Also crucial; hold the can up at the very top where it starts to slope inward. If you hold it in the middle you crush the can. Turn 3 or 4 times (maybe less, I haven't experimented yet) and you should be able to peel the top up by pulling your pre-lifted tab. Now taste success!
Not worth the money. This opener does not work at all. Spent 10 minutes trying to open a can of pop and all it did was barely score the can.
I've tried everything. All of my friends and family have too. No one has been able to do this as it is shown in the videos. It will work, technically, but it's not practical or usable. It's a gimmick. Save your money.
I was advertised this on Instagram and boy did I get hosed. This product is very difficult to use. I even looked at the positive reviews that claim that you must use it "correctly." I tried those "correct" ways and it is nearly impossible open your can without crushing it. (They say you have to grasp the can at the top). This is a scam because it won't be worth the time and money to try to complain and send back. I should have heeded the warnings of the numerous other one star reviews.
