abunda_amazon_reviews I really came close to giving this 5 stars. It's almost perfect. It's a very clever 3 piece design where each piece Velcros to the next to become a single unit once installed. Unfortunately that's one of the reasons I took off a star. When the top strap is attached to the upper back, the top was way too far back, and almost made the weight on my face seem heavier. Luckily I was able to reposition it, and with some extra Velcro I had laying around I was able to attach it much further forward and it is very comfortable now, although I felt the need to reinforce the slots with some additional Velcro. The other reason for me was the lower rear pad. It it's very thick, and I had trouble adjusting the strap to fit large enough to fit my fairly small head. It will probably be perfect for my child since he needs all the extra padding to make it small enough for him, but I leave that part off when I play.;;Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2020;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Well made, and comfortable, but I couldn't use all of it as intended.;;Hippo;;;I expected this to be decent. I didn't expect it to make my Quest outright comfortable. I didn't think *anything* could make my Quest comfortable. Some specifics: * This is much, much better than the generic triangle-shaped pad being sold elsewhere. That one kind of works, but the padding is very flat and it honestly doesn't do a lot to make your head feel cradled. This pad is genuinely plush, albeit with very lightweight foam padding. * In particular, the pad at the back of the head is AWESOME, with a big plush block of foam in it. I no longer have to cinch the crap out of my Quest side straps to keep it from migrating over the bump at the base of my skull because that pad parks it right there. Even if I do it's actually not that uncomfortable anymore. That freaking pad is probably worth the price of the whole thing. * The strap on top won't lift anything but it still feels good. You can't lift the Quest with a strap that close to the ears, it'll just pull the back up over your skull instead. But when you fit the top strap to your head it does make the Quest feel like it's a 360+over-top cradle, and it's actually really comfortable. If you do want to lift the Quest you should still get a Studioform strap or similar. I don't need one with this setup anymore, but one advantage of these pads are they all sit at mid-skull or behind. That means A) it's easy to readjust the Quest straps and B) you can fit anything forward-biased you'd like, like another strap. * Watch the video to install it. The instructions are really confusing around two aspects. The video shows it, but in case someone is struggling: 1) The little velcro t-things are supposed to get folded inside the frontmost side fasteners, with the skinny bit pointing forward. Fold the top strap around it so they stick to the inside of the strap. They keep the comfort strap from sliding on the sides while you wear it, and the anchors make the whole padded kit move backwards when you stretch to put on the headset. The instructions just don't show how to install them at all. 2) The top strap has two slots. The top-front fastener for the padding is supposed to go through the slots and then wrap around the OEM rubber top strap. It keeps the comfort strap in place up top. The instructions make it look like a separate fastening band is being used, but it's just the wings from the padding fastener. Highly recommended, confusing instructions aside. This kit is phenomenal. If the foam holds up, I won't look past this. If it doesn't, I'll be looking for whoever makes this with good foam. This design works.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2020;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Amazed;;Geo Mealer;;;I play VR quite a lot, maybe 1-2 hours a day, and this comfort strap system wasn't what I expected. I was looking for an accessory to help me play VR for a longer period of time, and a big part of it was how much pressure the Oculus Quest's straps had on the back of my head. I bought this system in-order to alleviate it, and although it is soft - it didn't do much in the way of being comfortable for longer play sessions. I have a large head, and this strap system isn't compatible with me - now if I were a child or had a smaller head it would be useful, particularly the large foam padding in the back, but I'm a grown man. With the foam padding in, I couldn't wear my headset correctly, and the back straps would be too high up and wouldn't be able to cradle the backside of my skull as intended. I was also missing both of the T-shaped velcro straps that were said to be included, and I wasn't able to secure the over the head headband correctly. I found much greater comfort using a counterweight system I fashioned out of a rechargeable battery pack and some hook-and-loop fasteners. What I would recommend to anyone reading this is to save your money and use it to buy a battery pack to hang off the backside of your VR headset strap, It's easier, more comfortable, and you can use the battery pack to increase your Oculus Quest's playing time by quite a bit.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2020;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Not what I expected;;Joseph Nguyen;;;So first off definitely watch the video on how to install it. There are some wonky bits...but once you get it is easy enough to do. Comfort: Very good felt nice on my head. Wouldn't say it does much on the front heaviness of the Quest but it certainly makes it feel tighter without hurting my head and that was my goal. Nice and plush for me. Personally, the side straddle strap did help a bit with the overall weight of the headset but the whole package is nice. Durability: This is where my main concern is since I put it on I have only took it off once and during that one time of removing it the velcra pads which apparently are glued on started to pull away from their surfaces. I would say if you plan on putting this on and never taking it off again it will work ok but if you are going to take it on and off then I would suspect it will fall apart in less then a few uses. Don't know if mine was just held on by weak glue or what but it didn't instill any faith in terms of long term durability of the velcro. Overall package: Nice package decent price. Does what it says. If the durability was improved (Maybe stitch the velcro on instead of just glue) you would have a very solid headset comfort strap.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2020;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Comfortable but not very durable;;P. Stabile;;;Very nice and snug fit. Once you get the straps right, it’s a comfortable and secure fit. It does feel like there’s some relief in front weight overall. But again, makes a very comfortable fit and the quality is good and for only $20.;;Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2020;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Comfortable snug fit overall!;;Bridgitte DeJesus
