I am very COLD right now in my small room. But the curtains sure do not keep the heat in your room when the heater blows the heat in.These curtains are SO wricled that I douped that Ironing them would help.

I was surprised at how well made these curtains are for the price. Wish i could have gotten a shorter length BUT thrilled at the price so i dont care. . Im getting 3 more sets for other rooms in my house. I used the regular metal curtain hanger bar. The beige is dark beige color. I used a clothing steamer to get the creases out. Are they lovely?, no are they great for blackout and thermal protection yes.. But keep in mind.. they are inexpensive so dont expect them to wear as well as true cloth curtains. Babysit grandchild and needed to make bedroom darker during daytime naps. Existing decorative drapes didn’t work. Added a second curtain rod to hang these closest to window. Can be pushed/tucked out of way until we need to pull them across to darken window. Purchased in a tan color to complement decorative curtains. The blackout curtains aren’t exactly stylish so I’m still using decorative curtains with the blackouts. ... show more

The curtains are exactly as described. They do block the light and also the heat. I used them to separate the cab of my van from the bead area.I had to run a portable a/c vent out of one of the driver's side windows and unfortunately there was a 2" crack in the window. These curtains keep all of the heat on that side and the bed area was very cold and dark. You cannot beat the price and value of these curtains. I would definitely buy again! ... show more

These are really good quality, heavy fabric with a white lined insulated back. Hang great, the little tie backs make them super simple to pull open when you want light, the velcro closures mean it's also easy to zip them off and lay the ties on the window sill when you want it dark. The curtains have a ruffle at the top, which is where they ran the curtain rod for the photo. Ruffle is 1 1/2" and rod pocket is 3" wide. I ordered taupe and love the color. Fabric is soft to the touch and weighs less than most blackout curtains. These are very nice curtains and I feel like I got far more than I paid for.
