I was planning to build a wall around an electric fireplace like this one, so I did a lot of research before making my choice. This one turned out to be a great choice! I was looking for one that has the heat outlet vent on the bottom, like this one. That was a big thing for me because I also added a mantel above it and if I decide to hang anything (mainly holiday decorations) I didn't want to worry about the heater being blocked or something worse. I also like that is has either the logs or rocks... I chose to use the logs as it looks more natural in my opinion. It has a ton of color options as well, even though I rarely use them, I still like the option. I found that it can heat up a room pretty quickly on the high setting and keep it comfy at the low setting. I've had it for a few months now and no complaints. ... show more

If you are going to mount the fireplace inside the wall the correct measurement for the cut out is 50Wx 17.5Hx4D. Fits perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I was a bit nervous to order one especially after reading some of the reviews but I’m glad I did because I LOVE IT! It’s perfect! I bought a 50 inch one a little over a month ago and everything still works perfectly fine. I am able to change the fire setting, the lighting, and control the heat which has been very beneficial with all the cold weather we’ve been getting. Update 4/2021: This is still beautiful to watch & heats well. However, soon after writing the original review the light bar began making a noisy ticking sound. I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent out a replacement and we returned the defective unit. Soon after installing the replacement it too began making the same ticking sound. Again, Amazon was willing to take back the unit but I declined a replacement. I noticed Amazon would only credit my account part of the initial amount paid, less approximately $80 for shipping, I think. I opted to keep the unit instead of the hassle of mailing another large package back to Amazon. We still use it regularly, until we get sick of the ticking sound. This is a great electric fireplace. We purchased this fireplace and then built and framed our wall to its specifications. It is super easy to use. Beautiful to watch and a great addition to our living room. We have primarily used it for ambiance but the heater works nicely. ... show more

Poor quality. Low heat and not very bright. I am a contractor so I do a lot of electric fireplaces, this one is for my personal house. Regret buying it.

Easy to install. The only thing that I wish they would show you in the manual was how to take off the glass after you install it to replace the wood with rocks. Other than that it is awesome. I will order another one for my office.

I absolutely love my new fireplace. It does require a knowledgeable person to install it. That said, once it is installed sit back and enjoy! The remote is great and works perfectly.
