I purchased this chair after my 6 year old outgrew a toddler chair we bought for him years ago. This chair popped up in my search and I liked the way it looked on the description. I read the dimensions and seemed much bigger than the other we were replacing. I received it extremely fast thanks to Amazon! Once taken out of the box the assembly was extremely quick and easy. 5 mins tops. The chair reclines very easily and it's much bigger than the other chairs for sale on Amazon for kids. These chairs are meant for kids 5 and up, and are extremely comfy! My son loves it! it's super easy to keep clean thanks to the leatherette material. All it needs is a simple wipe to keep clean. The build quality seems very good, no issues with shipping and it seems like it will hold up well for a while. Overall I would recommend this chair to anyone looking to buy a chair for their older kids. I would definitely buy it again if I had to! ... show more

As a youth chair, you cannot get anything close in price to one so attractive, comfortable and easy to assemble. My 6 year old uses this as a TV/computer chair, as well as in front of his small desk. It's low for a desk but works. The problem with the chair is that there is no way to lock it so it does not recline, and when it reclines it's much too easy to tip it over. One is an easy fix -- the mfr. should provide a lock or lever so it cannot recline. The other is a harder fix -- the design is weighted wrong and if the child leans back hard or far the chair tips back over and that is unsafe. ... show more

Our son loves this chair! We have the red and black one for our girls as well and they are holding up great to the abuse the kiddos dish out! This thing was super easy to put together, took about 5 minutes as it only came in a few pieces inside the box. Our son is about 4'1 and almost 60 lbs. He has long legs and when he reclines in it his heels are just barely at the edge, but he has told us he likes it. He mainly uses this chair as his sensory break to read or play his game. I was worried at first if he would like it as he has ASD and has refused to sit in a chair we bought previously that was similar to this saying, "no no comfy ow." With this chair, he first noticed his favorite cyan blue color, he sat down, and smiled while clapping. We showed him it reclined, and as he sat back he shrieked and clapped more. He does this when he really likes something and is very happy. He has bounced in this chair so many times too but it is still holding up great! Pushing back on it too far will make it tip over though so be careful. Overall I am extremely happy and would highly recommend this little chair :) ... show more

This is the perfect chair for kids 5+. I was worried that it would be the same size as the other chairs I had for my younger kids (pink chair in picture) but it's a fair deal bigger. I did have to contact Amazon to verify which product number was the red one as their pictures and color selection wasn't matching up. I will be buying two more of these when the twins outgrow the pink chairs. ... show more

Y’all about a cheap damn chair. Chair looks great, but in the first week my kid broke it... upon further inspection, it’s made from cheap plywood or laminated wood together... I literally laughed..... you guys should be giving me money back. Putting my kids safety on the line.... your lucky he wasn’t impaled by anything. This product should be removed also... ... show more

I read the reviews before purchasing. I am definitely glad that I bought this for my 5 year old. It was very easy to assemble and it can right on time. I can Sit in the chair, which I’m 5’9 142lbs. This chair should only be described as child’s chair and not youth. The pic of it in the room is very misleading. I bought this for our small 14 year old and it’s almost too small for out 10 year old that wears a size 7. It’s really small.
