Used for a screened in outdoor porch. Gives alot of heat if it's right in front of you. Bought 2 had plugged in diff outlets and blew a fuse so keep that in mind.

This product in combination with a thermoregulator is great for anyone who has a greenhouse where they put their indoor plants in. The functionality of this fan is pretty straight forward and the air output, both hot and cold is superb. When it comes to the heat settings there are two types, low heat (I) and high heat (II). The low heat setting works amazingly in my opinion as it delivers a good amount of heat very quickly, about less than a minute. As for the high heat setting, well.. it is hot! Since I have a small plastic greenhouse, the low heat setting works the best for my needs. The thermoregulator helps turn on and off the fan when the temperature dips at a certain range. This fan is efficient because you don't have to waste energy waiting for the device to heat up. The cool air comes in the back end and hot air comes out the front at a quick time, lessening energy cost because you don't have to wait long for the device to produce warm air. Perfect for tropical indoor plants. I also want to mention I have my greenhouse outdoors so it can get chilly at night in California but, this thing saved my plants' life!!! In terms of build, it's super lightweight. I can carry it with one hand easily in addition to its portability. The extension cord is fairly long and sturdy. The fan does make a loud noise when turned on which is obvious and fair and definitely not a bother since its outdoors. The sound doesn't travel that far so, when outdoors its fairly quiet. I recommend this for anyone even if you are not using it for a greenhouse. The fan setting is simple and straightforward and lets you adjust the air output by adjusting the (+/-) dial on the right. Has amazing heat output or cool air output (turn the left dial to the picture of the fan) and is light, affordable, and a BEAST in performance! ... show more

I’ve had product for approximately 10 months. It had been adequate for small space heating but not enough for a screened patio area unless sitting 3’ from you and then the fan blown warm air will dry your eyes out. The heating selector knob quit working today and no way to repair as stem attached to plastic knob is stuck and can’t be turned even with pliers which had initially led to stripping of the knob insert. Removing top control panel did not allow a fix. Their store has no support link so forget about replacement. ... show more

First off it is a little smaller than I originally expected. However, it does heat up pretty quick and for the size puts out decent heat. I mainly purchased this to keep on my front porch. Unfortunately, I'm a smoker and with a 3 and 4 year old I do not smoke in my home. I go out on my covered porch. I just wanted something to keep me decently warm in the fall/winter months when I'm on the porch. It's decent and does take some of the chill out of the air but has to be positioned or propped up just right to get the full effect. Have to keep a few feet away from me to feel any heat. Probably not really meant for what I'm using it for but for the price I'm content with it. ... show more

    • On/Off knob no longer works
I loved the product at first, it did the job I needed it to. I live in the south on the coast, so only needed it outside to use occasionally during late November, December, January - but I’ve had it just barely a year with minimal use and last night, the On/Off knob — when turned off — did NOT turn off the unit, I had to unplug it. This morning, the On/Off knob won’t even turn. Disappointing. ... show more

I bought this to put on my screened in patio, which is my favorite place to watch TV and drink a glass of wine😋. I did a lot of research and finally decided on this one. I like that it's small and has like a "lip" handle to easily carry (see pic). I also like the long cord bc I don't have an accessible outlet out here. So far it's heating up my bubble area well enough to make me comfortable. If I moved it any closer I think I would get too hot. It's no louder than a bedside fan. So far I'm happy with the purchase. I just hope it lasts bc that's always been the biggest issue in the past with these small heaters. Fingers crossed! ... show more
