  • Absolutely Love it

I have used mine on a daily basis for the last six months and it really holds up. Looks as good as it did the day I bought it.

  • Works
Color: red
This does what it's supposed to for the most part. It feels sturdy even when I (a large person) use it. There are two big issues. 1. There is a pin that comes in and out of the middle. For some reason no one can get it to go back in. This means it's free to fold and in fact trys to do that when you sit on it in just the right position. This has in fact made work outs a little more interesting and a lot more anxiety inducing. 2. It was shipped as is?? By that I mean they didn't put it's box into another box to ship it. Normally I don't mind this, better for the environment! However, this was supposed to be a household Christmas gift. So upon the family stepping out onto the porch and seeing exactly what I baught since the picture is all over the box, as well as the name of the item; it became just a gym addition at the end of November, and now I'm going to have to figure out Christmas all over again. ... show more

  • Crooked seat. Bad quality control. CS not fazed by it.
Color: red
I purchased this bench after about 2 weeks of comparing and reading reviews for all benches I was interested in. I finally decided on this 1, also because it was in my price range. There were a lot of good reviews vs bad reviews, but I was still hesitant because of some of the bad ones I read. The bad included tears in the material prior to arrival, bad weld jobs, visible marks, badly put together, parts breaking after a few uses, etc. Mine arrived last night; actually 3 days before it was supposed to, so I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, the bench I received came with everything. I thoroughly looked at it, and it seemed fine. No tears, no visible marks; the only thing I noticed once I put it in place was the bottom part of the bench. Attached are photos to show, but the “butt part” is clearly crooked compared to the rest of the bench. I looked again underneath, and everything is screwed in like it’s supposed to. I’m not upset, or asking for a replacement, because this is minor compared to other potential things that could’ve been wrong with my bench. I don’t feel that it is crooked enough to where I still can’t manage to get my workout in. I do however, feel like with the other reviews that list a bad weld job, my bench also falls under that category. There is clearly a problem, and in my opinion the quality control and inspection of these benches needs to be stepped up. If I was part of that team, I still wouldn’t send this bench out because there is a problem with it, albeit small, and especially after reading the bad reviews. To someone else, this might be a far worse problem for whatever reason. The fact that it came already assembled (which is amazing, thank you very much for doing that), this should’ve been spotted if it was in fact quality checked. So either it wasn’t checked period, or it was, the issue was noticed, and it was still sent out due to lack of caring. If your company wants to continue to sell products and have their name out there as selling a good, fairly inexpensive bench, then the quality control needs work. I have not used it yet, but I’m hoping that once I do start to use it, that I won’t have any further issues. PLEASE take this message to heart, fix the problem(s), and don’t ignore it like some of the other reviewers feel when it comes to an issue. Yes time is money, but so are quality products over anything else. What if you or someone in your company ordered this bench or 1 of the other worse reviewed benches? Even if it was from a different company, you’d be just as upset or frustrated as the rest of us are/were. Put yourself in our shoes; you’re a consumer just like the rest of us, and you want a good product. It’s as simple as that. ... show more

  • Well worth the money - so far
Color: red
Only had the unit for a few weeks now but was an absolute breeze to assemble. Barely any required. Light but yet feels sturdy. I would have given it a five for sturdiness however the jury is still out as it's new. Have no reason to question whether it will hold up to significant use, as of yet.

  • Great bench but taller than most. Happy with it
Color: red
This is a great bench, well put-together, sturdy, secure locking pins at adjustment stops. Right amount of cushion. Feels very secure used flat to bench press. There is quite a gap between the two sections but I only notice it when bench pressing trying to maintain an arch. Comes with a little foam padding roll doohicky for your feet, but good luck trying to hook your feet in there for decline situps without blowing out the fronts of your knees! But who is buying this bench to use that feature anyway?! The biggest surprise (I guess I could've searched the item description better) is that it's like 20" tall when used flat. I'm planning to keep it instead of trying to get a shorter one that is built the same. At 5'4" height, for me, it just means a bit more finagling required putting 45's or other heavy non-slippy objects under my feet for bench pressing. **HIP THRUSTING ----- If you are planning to use this for hip-thrusting, good luck unless you are a giant! I found that I can use the end instead to lean back into, BUT I need to push the other end securely up to the wall. If you don't have a wall nearby or spare non-slippy 45lb. plates to secure it, it's going to slide right out behind you. Less room to really wiggle into a good setup, but it seems to work quite well. And a small detail, it does fold up flat and is nice and compact. The pin that comes with it is solid and the connection is secure, but just a head-s up you have to kinda hold the hinge point at kinda an awkward angle to get the pin in smoothly. I thought I had gotten a defective hole at first, but turns out the angle wasn't quite right so path through the hole wasn't clear. Know that I know the trick, it's medium-easy to put the pin back in after taking it out of it's compact folded position. I would buy this again or recommend it to a friend trying to build a garage gym. ... show more

  • Solid workout bench
Color: red
Did a lot of research. Read the reviews for several benches $50-100 more. They were either flimsy looking or the hardware looked problematic. I’ve had Olympic universal gyms and it was too bulky. This isn’t as heavy duty as gym equipment benches but it is super solid. I’ve downsized my equipment to adjustable dumbbells (Performer) and a bench. Doesn’t creek or feel the slightest bit wobbly under load. Very pleased so far. ... show more
