Got these for a water balloon fight for the teenagers. Placed buckets around in a circle and split the balls out between them. This allowed the kids to run around from bucket as they played. 😊 Pros 1 - Hold plenty of water and when thrown hard they explode much like your traditional water balloons without the mess. 2 - Soft enough that they do not hurt (even when hit in the face it was more of an annoyance than actual pain). 3 - Reusable, this means that the fun could continue as long as they wanted (or until the buckets ran out of water). I bought these because foam gym balls are incredibly expensive and because I needed water balloons as well for a party. Not only were these reasonably priced, they soaked up plenty of water and were easy to throw. I’d say depending on who is throwing it, it has as much impact as a regular water balloon so it didn’t hurt to get hit by them. Additionally, their bright colors made them easy to find in the yard. They also float, which makes them easy to use in the pool as well.

These are super fun and a great substitute for water balloons. We used a lot of reuseable water balloons this summer as well and they’re great but these are way easier and even the youngest kids can use them easily. Not sure how long they’ll last since they are really just big pom poms but they’re fun so worth the investment for me. We threw them in the pool for a fun activity for my son and his friends during a party and they’re definitely a blast.
