OK, there are others that look pretty much like this but they aren't. Things to appreciate here: the arms come attached and the wiring is done. Also, the mounting plate is legit, functional and has nearly unlimited options for landing those two screws that can drive you nuts. I'm only writing this review because I bought a similar item which was none of those things and actually purchased a second one thinking it was defective. I'm medium handy so blamed myself for the other one not working. I'm only writing this review hoping to save you time because I had this thing up and running in ten minutes where I spent more time than that unpacking the other two turkeys. They even include a bent nut wrench to lock in the arms in the desired position. I left mine pretty loose which allows me to alter the configuration at will. I've probably written about three reviews on Amazon even though my house is practically an Amazon loading dock. Again, if you want this TYPE of light this is the PARTICULAR one to buy. It costs about $20 more than the disaster I ordered before. I'm considering alerting Amazon about the train wreck other product but it is possible I got two identically bad ones consecutively. You may see others product similar to this light. Get this one and pay a littler more. I purchased the cheap one and had to send it back. This one come preassembled and was in good condition. I’m happy with it. Light is dimmed a bit in the pictures.

Love this light fixture! Excellent quality, light and color! I was thinking I would need to install a dimmer because of the number of lights and due to other reviews. The bulbs I chose for the fixture lit the room up perfectly without it being too bright. I didn't think I would like the amber tint but I think it gives off the right amount of light and color for my dining room area. I have a very traditional style house and was looking for something contemporary just to make it stand out a little. I installed it in place of the front porch light. Though it is not rated for exterior use or damp locations, I'm not overly concerned as it's quite well protected. I found long tube filament/edison style LED lightbulbs intended for desk lamps and love the way they look in the fixture. I bought the lowest wattage bulbs I can find, but with this many bulbs it is bright!! I don't mind it though as it makes the house look great and as there are no street lights provides lots of light. There are a couple fixtures on amazon similar to this one but paid a little more because of the nice reviews. I have to say it was easy to put to together & a sinch to install. Start to finish 30 min. It is really a cool looking. I have attached a picture.

This light looks absolutely beautiful in my kitchen I no longer have dead bugs growing in the other fixture I had because it was a big plastic thing I get compliments all the time I put the clear light bulbs in so there’s enough light for the kitchen and I just love it

This fixture is worth the extra $ for the convenience of having just one wiring connection-the lower priced models require you to wire all 8 arms individually! That said, it’s still a little pricey for how simple it is. Shipping was fast, packing was good. Nice to have color options, chose bronze over the standard black on other models. We didn’t have the canopy configuration shown in instructions (electrical was inside wooden beam), so had to adapt instructions, but not a big deal-just required a helper to hold fixture. The toolkit includes a handy little wrench to tighten the arm nuts which was a nice touch. We tried one and liked it so much we ordered 2 more to complete our beamed kitchen ceiling. This proved a good solution for the problem of fixed electrical connections in beams not being optimally located. The wood absorbs so much light it’s not too much. Looks great in our kitchen. Well packaged and solid in composition. Already put together, just swing out the arms and tighten the nut for each. Easy to install for the electrician it seemed. We can even partly swivel it around to change up the angle/look if we want to. Cost more than many others it seemed, but no regrets for a quality product. ... show more
