    • Does its job, thermostatic fan control is distracting and a bit noisy.
For the most part, this does its job and provides plenty of power to all components I have. I've run out of the cable connections long before being anywhere near the max wattage for it. My only complaint is the fan.. it kicks up and down on a thermostat, almost like pulsing up and down, and it does it every few seconds... a steady hum or smooth transition would be a less distracting noise. Edit: at less than one weak of use the power switch no longer will lock into the off position, it springs back to on and stays stuck there. It is still usable by unplugging it, but less convenient without a working switch. I am considering exchanging it, but have not initiated the process yet to avoid system down time. ... show more

    • No problem with I have been using it for 4 months now nonstop mining with 2 6700 on mining case
Now the fan mite be cheap I has going to mod in led strip mod I left in running to find a 12 + and drop my soldering iron fan blade broke but luckily I have a spare from one one the xbox I was fixing

Used it on and off for about 8 weeks , turned in on ran few min then started smelling and smoking , was only running it at 1200 watts way under its rating. If we were not in the room at the time most likely would have caused a fire . Looked further into it they are not UL approved so are untested . The company has no email to contact them . ... show more

Never be in a hurry. This happens every time I assume something. Had I read and noticed 18awg wire to feed this thing I would have known they were full of it. 18AWG cannot run 1800watts. Funny enough the box they came in said 2000 watts. What a joke! 850watt Thermaltake do better than these. Of course I just noticed my return window is gone. I guess I just haunt everything they sell and let people know what liars they are. ... show more
