These are great for an oil based acrylic pen. I hadn't realized I purchased oil based and had to then educate myself as to the difference of that and water based. Long story short, the oil based does not go on with as much coverage as the water based paint. No matter how much you shake it up, it is still going to be slightly transparent. You'll have to do multiple coats to get the full color out of it. At least for non-porus surfaces that is. I frequently need to mark wine bottles for a group of amateur wine tasters. The white markers make easy, clearly visible marks on the red wine bottles. I separately purchased black markers for marking red wine bottles; these also work well.

These are opaque which can be a challenge with white paint pens. The tips are nice and disperse the paint evenly.

There is almost zero paint coming out, even after depressing the tip / shaking the rattler / pushing the tip onto the paper. I bought a Sharpie oil pen (apparently made by Sanford) and it's worlds better.
