  • Good replacement battery but doesn't come with battery acid
Style: Battery
I ordered this battery as a replacement in my Polaris Sportsman 570. It worked great, but it did not come with battery acid, so I had to go to Autozone and spend $10 on the acid. No big deal, just making sure others are aware of this need. "Battery acid not included". Haha.

  • Excellent
Style: Battery
I was super excited to find this namebrand lead acid battery still available I’ve completely had it with AGM batteries my Polaris sportsman came factory with a lead acid battery that lasted about five years. I replaced it with an AGM that lasted about three months and it doesn’t seem to matter what brand AGM battery I get that seems to be the approximate lifespan. My ATV gets used every day on the farm starting and stopping multiple times per day I purchased this battery and installed it a little over nine months ago and it’s still going strong. Now this being a lead acid battery, it is shipped to dry so it will need to be filled with battery fluid before installing the one I purchased did not come with any I don’t know if it was supposed to or not it may have said it in the description that I didn’t read lol was not a big deal for me because I had some in my garage that I had bought a few years back it can generally be purchased at any local parts store and it’s pretty cheap so not a big deal either way ... show more

  • Doesn’t come with acid needed to activate
Style: Battery
I didn’t realize it didn’t come with the acid to add to the battery had to go to the auto store to buy it. If you are ordering this order battery acid also.

  • Worked Flawlessly
Style: Battery
I had a dead battery in a Polaris 400L. This was the exact replacement and it works perfectly. Fitment was spot-on because it’s the MFG’s OEM battery and everything came with virgin lead as expected and after filling the cells up with new electrolytic fluid/battery acid & giving it a proper first charge, it’s starting right up again. Hopefully this one lasts as long as the old one did (~8-8.5 years). 🤞 ... show more

Did not have the acid with it. My fault. Didn't see the fine print.

  • The substantial savings weren’t as substantial as I thought.
Style: Battery
It’s a battery. It comes without the acid in it. Silly me didn’t realize dry battery meant that. Most auto parts stores have the battery acid you can purchase in the quart or gallon size. A quart size bottle cost me around 13 dollars I believe. The battery won’t work without it.

  • Lasted 4 years and almost 5 months.
Style: Battery
This was the best battery I have had in my ATV. Most ATV batteries last me less than 2 years. I let it sit for months at a time without using it. Not a single issue until over 4 years later. Allowing a battery to sit without charging causes it to deteriorate faster. If I went to the effort to put on a battery minder, it would probably last even longer. Yes, you have to buy & add acid. You need less than a quart. OReilly's auto parts sells 6 quarts for $12.99. Save the unused acid for next time, and the next, and ...Should give you enough for 7 batteries. Many of you give the battery a poor rating because you must buy acid - the description makes this clear. ... show more
