After contemplating between the 65 and the 45 I chose the 65 because the 45 is super small on the inside! Quality is next to none. You get what you pay for. Get the 65 it’s only a $50 difference in price. Looked at some competitors but nothing compares to the yetti. People mention it’s heavy when it’s really not. I’m able to load and unload by myself with no problems. Here for an update on 4-25-24. Put ice in it Sunday night today is Thursday cooler is still full of ice some melted as expected and drinks are still ice cold! First time users pre cool your cooler with a bag of ice before adding more and drinks. Makes a big difference ... show more

our new Yeti cooler kept our wonderful buy for New York Steaks frozen solid for 5 days! The cooler is heavy & a little expensive, but I checked with our friends who have had a Yeti Cooler and used it for 10 years of transporting wild game meat. They swear by it & consider it a good investment. After making our 3-4 day trip from AZ to northern MN, we agree that it is a super investment & if needs to be a little heavier to keep food frozen…then we feel that is perfect too!! ... show more

First off let me just say this is the BEST cooler I’ve ever owned. Is it expensive? Extremely. But is it worth it? Most definitely. I’ve covered mine in stickers then added a yeti brand bottle opener to the side and finally added a yeti grey seadek to the top. It holds ice for about 2-3 weeks if kept closed when not in use. It’s extremely sturdy and very well built. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it other than it’s extremely heavy when full of ice. But don’t let that deter you. Buy you a nice beach cart to stick it in and pull around! GO BUY A YETI ALREADY! ... show more

We used this cooler with Yeti Ice on several marching band trips and our food and ice stayed wonderfully. Can’t say the same thing for our RTIC cooler that had the same Yeti ice and added ice. That cooler leaked and the ice melted before the same day trip was over.
