These knives are perfectly balanced: regardless of hand size, they are easy to maneuver safely and efficiently and will make you look forward to cooking again. The knife block is beautiful dark wood that fits in modern and classic kitchens alike. Be mindful when handwashing these knives because they will cut into your sponges if you go too quickly, another great sign of quality knives. Wow! Love this culinary knife set. The dark earthy wood tone of the knife block really ties this set together. The blades are sharp and machined very well. The handles feel high end and the craftsmanship is excellent. These feel like real chef knives! (To the amateur at home kitchen chef that is me.) I've already gotten compliments on my new knives from family members who were equally impressed by the quality. The variety of knives available here has every sharp tool you may need in your home kitchen. My personal favorite is the chef's knife followed closely by the steak knives. I love that they are not serrated, which gives them a more elegant, higher quality feel and look relying on the sharpness of the blade rather than any sawing action. This knife set is inclusive of just about any knife you may need in the kitchen. I love the look of the knife block and how heavy it is. The knifes are very sharp and you have to be careful with them, but they cut very nicely. Great product.

This set has everything I need for my kitchen. The block is sturdy. The knives are sharp. I’ve used the scissors on a rotisserie chicken to break the ribcage and even on bacon with ease. All the knives and scissors are easy to clean and don’t scuff up with my dish sponge. With proper care I can see these lasting a long time. (Pro tip: if you love your knives, DONT soak your knives) the presentation on the box and upon unwrapping would also make these a great housewarming or wedding gift. Highly recommend. ... show more
