Best pair of monitors. Using them as desktop speakers for playing music and music creation. Using a Yamaha MG10XU mixer also. I've had these for a while but forgot to write a review. If you're on the fence, get them. Keep in mind that these speakers use TRS/XLR connectors instead of USB so keep that in mind. ... show more

What can I say? These are incredible. Sound is clear, pure and 100% neutral. Every nuance of a mix you hear. Amazing to go back and listen to things you heard for years... you hear them in a whole new way. You can appreciate all the nuance of every mix... Blows away any other 5" studio monitor I've heard. Bass is pure and clear. If you want a pair of monitors these are it. Forget the others. Hands down. Such a great price for the quality. If you want extra bass and can download an eq for your computer and mess with the settings so you can get the most bass out of them

I am not a total audiophile but for what its worth I like how these sound. I have a home recording studio and the speakers are needed because my head phones dont quite have as proper sound. I have a Focusrite Scarlet 4i4 and use Reaper for my DAW and it is amazing. No need for expensive sotfware. I do pay up for quality cables (Mogami), but I the mic I bought is Amazon Basic super cheap but works great. I added a Klark Technic booster to the mic for $99 and it helps. ... show more

Great monitors. I was worried they would be too small for my needs, but turns out, they have more than enough power and are crystal clear. I have them hooked to my Yamaha Montage 8 which is a great synth so they pair up nicely. I hooked them to a mid range synth that I have and that is when I really noticed how sub par the sounds coming out of that keyboard were compared to the Montage.
