- Arrived Quickly - I, 57 YOF, assembled it solo in less than an hour - Great price, and I've researched quite a bit, one chain has it for $355 (LOL) - It is smaller than I anticipated; but not smaller than dimensions indicated. See image with purse and banana for scale. - There is no umbrella hole. (The response to one of the QUESTIONS asked in 2021 is misleading: "Question: What umbrella fits with this set? Answer: You may use this set with the umbrella that you like.") I doubt it will last years and years, but at $105 it is certainly more than worth the price. ... show more

Just letting you know: It looks just like it does in the picture and is easy to put together, but this is sized for European butts, not American ones. I have exactly 2 friends who could sit on these chairs, the rest would be uncomfortable at best or would refuse out of structural concerns. I might buy the matching bench to go with it so I can have a mixed friend group over. ... show more

Good as a show piece on a patio or porch not meant to be used for dining. Screws did not fit the predrilled holes on the table. Had to get hardware at my local Ace Hardware to build the table. Chairs went together easily but legs spread somewhat when I sit on them and I am slightly less than 200 lbs. Chairs are rated for up to 300 lbs. I seriously doubt they would hold that much weight. ... show more

I absolutely adore this little bistro set! I will say, just to let others know, that it is small, but that doesn't bother me as I'm on the shorter side. (5'4"). I have a tall friend who said he felt like he was sitting on a toilet for comparison in height, but he did say that it was still comfortable. I am a bigger girl, and these chairs are VERY sturdy. I don't have a fear of it collapsing whatsoever. This set was a breeze to put together, I did it myself in about 30 minutes. I did use a ratchet rather than the little tools they sent with it, so that may have sped things up, but even with the wee tools they sent, it wouldn't have been a long process. All in all, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, and would suggest it to anyone who asked,.....and I've had about 10 people ask!! ;) ... show more

    • Sturdy and attractive. Use a ratchet!

Before I begin, I recommend the use of a ratchet with an extension when assembling this set. The included wrench will work, but it won't get the hardware as tight as you might like. I had reservations about purchasing a cast aluminum (instead of cast iron) set of outdoor furniture. I'm pleased to say that this set has been absolutely fantastic, and has exceeded my expectations in every way. The construction and finish are excellent, and the only giveaway that these aren't cast iron is that there are fewer bumps and sharp edges, and the set is lighter in weight. There are spares of every part of the hardware included, and all the hardware is hidden once assembly is complete. It is a very well-built and well-designed set, and is one of the rare Amazon furniture purchases that looks better in person, instead of being a disappointment. ... show more
