After buying several brands of security, I finally figured out if you can only had one brand, it should be WYZE. After stocking up with another brand (won't say here, but it starts with last letter in alphabet, that included several outdoor cameras with antennas, I found out this brand would get a good clear picture over twice as far as the other brand. and the least expensive of their cameras work great outdoors if you use this power cord that is waterproof. Also the other brand just gives a round white donut of a picture if aimed out a window, where the WYZE cameras give a good night picture through a window pain if there is enough light to see with the eye. ... show more

    • Good for Outdoor Outlet
Put up a Wyze Camera at back patio that needed to be plugged in. Had an Outdoor Outlet, which has a cover built onto it. The camera's regular plug that came with it was actually too big to allow the cover to close over the outlet. I ordered this outdoor cord which actually has a smaller plug (regular one) which I attached to the camera and then was able to plug into the outlet and close the cover. So glad! ... show more

    • Fixed the camera problems fast
These were the fix i needed to power my cams outdoors, the power cables That came with it Did nothing but give my cameras problems... had to constantly power them down BUT these fixed the problem and I've had no power issues since with my wyze v3 cameras

I bought the outdoor camera. But didn't realize i needed to buy an outdoor power cord before i could actually use it outside. So here i am, it works, but it should have come with the camera.

Works as described for a WYZE V3 with spotlight. I am planning to try and add an extension to see if there are any performance issues, but so far, it works as intended.

    • Unit worked ok for $35 what can one expect for that amoutn of money??
1. I had 4 WYZE cameras, 3 were defective and the 4th since I could not a a 100% refund I will find a use for it. 2. The camera I was unable to flash the firmware using their GUI I had to use a more "computer oriented" method that non of my clients wanted to try the arcane method. I had 4 devices, non of the 3 that were deployed worked. 3. Used this device to light up an area and it was able to do its job, no complaints until I had a minor issue and the resolution was to flash the dim area and the light would not afford me the luxury of flashing the firmware, I think it was RMA'd 4. Finally remove from service and research the Arlo cameras, who knows maybe a big dude sitting in the living room??? ... show more
