Pockets are a nice addition to most garments, no exception here. Fits nicely and fabric is thicker than I thought it would be, but still good for summer wear. Nice feel, smooth inside and out. Higher than knee length in my opinion but close. Over all would recommend.

I needed a good "staple" black pencil skirt for church or the occasional funeral. This one is soft and stretchy, similar to active wear. I should've sized down because the length is longer than I like (I am 5'3") and it's roomy and stretchy enough that the medium would've fit me better. It has pockets, which is nice, but I feel like the area around the pockets looks a little bunchy and is not quite smoothing enough around the hips. To me, a pencil skirt should be smooth and slimming, and this one is just not fitting perfectly on my body type. I feel it makes me look bigger than I am. I really want to like this pencil skirt, but it’s really see through. Not in a way that I need to wear another layer underneath, but that the pocket is showing and it made the skirt looks unflattering. I do like the fabric a lot, it’s more like a sport wear fabric so it’s super comfortable and stretchy. I might remove the pockets myself so it looks nicer.
