This purse is fantastic. I have a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old, both of whom have ADHD. I am constantly running after them, and often have to drop my stuff and sprint because the 4-year-old likes streets and cars. This purse is not treated gently in any way, shape, or form- I have abused the crap out of it for the last 4 months and it still looks brand new. It's been dropped, thrown, had all kinds of liquids spilled on it, and is regularly stuffed with approximately 10 to 15 lb of cargo. None of the stitching has ripped, nothing has stained, The zippers all still work. The hardware is a little scuffed but that's to be expected given how often I drop it and run. I do have a couple of nitpicks: The top zipper for the main compartment would be so much better if it was a couple of inches longer or went down onto the sides even a half inch- it doesn't go all the way across the top and that makes it difficult to get bigger things out of the bag or even open it up all the way to see what's down on the bottom. I also really wish that the larger compartment on the outside had the zipper on the top instead of on the front with a flap- it almost fits my planner but not quite. ... show more

I'm glad I love the color and I'm glad I didn't buy this in a traditional leather color (brown or black) because this is not anything like a leather look. It's more of a vintage sailors raincoat material which I happen to like. But if you're not going for school bus yellow, prepare yourself. It is indeed roomy, although the top opening is a bit narrow. I like all the pockets and secret zippered compartments as I bought it for touring and I think it will work very well for that. The hardware seems pretty solid, but I haven't put it to the test yet (fingers exed). For the price? It's great, but don't get your hopes up for a Fossil level bag. And that's to be expected. (I replaced the extra strap with a different one in my color scheme.) ... show more

If you're thinking about getting this bag, DO IT!!! I threw away the shoulder strap because I didn't like the color/pattern plus I will only wear it as a backpack. The leather is soft and smooth, though it does take a couple days of being aired out to get rid of the new leather smell. It is good quality and only $30!! It fits my laptop and work essentials, it is great for traveling and having the necessities on me, and it can be used as a diaper bag during the toddler stage! ... show more

I was worried for the price the nylon would be flimsy and not durable, but it's a nice texture of nylon. (The lining is a little thin, but wipes off easily.) I've been carrying it daily for over a week and every time I think about switching to one of my many other bags, I know I'd miss the functionality and comfort of this bag. I carry it crossbody with a strap I already owned. I wish the backpack strap was detachable since I'll carry it crossbody 99% of the time, but it doesn't stop me from loving this bag. The outside side pockets easily hold a 16oz water bottle. I only use the small outside back zipper pocket for my earphones. One of the front outside pockets holds my wallet for my Clipper Card and mask for buses. The top outside zipper pocket holds lens wipes, hand wipes, Clipa purse hook, a PocketBac hand sanitizer, and a hand sanitizer spray. The inside holds my wallet, notebook, pens, tissues, gum, reusable grocery bag, MAC lipstick and lip moisturizer. And there's plenty of room for additional items. I get a lot of compliments on this bag. It holds a lot and seems to be made well. I like all the color choices and being able to use it as a shoulder bag. I like the southwestern motif shoulder strap and the side pouches to stash a bottle of water in.
