  • Okay Boots, Some Good and a Little More Bad
Size: 10 Color: Dark Brown
I’ve been wearing these boots for 3.5 months. I do not do construction everyday, but I am a DIY home remodeler, so I’ve been wearing them 15-20 days a month. The Good: I have a hard time finding boots that fit perfect, from Timberland Pros, CAT and even some other Wolverine styles it seems I’m always between sizes, either to tight or slight heel slip. However, these fit me like a glove! I have more expensive boots than these but I still choose to wear these over the others. They have been waterproof for me thus far, however I’ve only stepped in puddles a few inches deep and never stood in them long enough. They dry out fairly well when working in them all day, as long as you are wearing breathable socks, socks are always the key to dry feet. The boots also look fairly nice and aren’t bulky and the steel toe positing and box size is perfect for my feet. The Bad: They just don’t hold up as well as my other boots. They aren’t puncture resistant, which it doesn’t claim to be but for almost $100 they should be. Wearing them a few times I’ve stepped on wood with nails sticking out and licking the tread is thick enough that I just felt it before it went into my foot. The leather has been holding up well, I do clean and oil them from time to time. Leather has come out in a few spots, but to be expected with heavy demo. The tread has definitely worn out faster than expected for the value paid as well as some rubber to leather separation on the sides. Overall: If these were $60-65 boots I would keep buying them every 6 months and discarding of old ones but not at $90. Lets see how they hold up another few months. ... show more

  • Forklift Certified
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Brown
I would like to formally forklift certify these boots. My boyfriends foot got run over by a forklift while working and after a visit to the ER he was all good. No broken bones, no amputated toes, just some swelling and pain for a couple days. I highly recommend these boots. Unfortunately they're unusable after the accident, waiting for his work to reimburse us for a new pair. ... show more

  • Takes a beating
Size: 8 Color: Black
Been wearing these shoes for the last year for work in EMS and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality. The fit is great, with a wide toe box and secure around the heel/ankle. I’ve yet to get a blister, even while I was the breaking them in (which took about a month of daily wear and use). They are very easy to polish and keep clean. Not the lightest boot, with the majority of the weight being concentrated at the sole/midsole. Has a propensity to chip off pieces of the toe. Is not super breathable and tends to lock in smells. Never noticed any issues with the safety toe. Overall is amazing for the price, particularly the comfort. If I can ride a skateboard to work in them, handle a mile run in them, and easily manage puke in them, then I consider them to exceed my expectations. ... show more

  • Great, comfortable boot,
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Brown
I wear them everyday for work and love them. Comfortable, sturdy and warm. I have been a repeat customer of the same boot as I wear them out. Wish they were called Buckeyes instead of Wolverines but still a great boot!

  • 6 months in and still kicking 💪
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
I wear these regularly for work. I do warehouse and these are great. I've dropped stuff on my foot, kicked stuff on accident, didn't even feel it. I stepped on a loose board from a pallet and the nails didn't even penetrate all the way through the souls. They are comfortable to walk in and I can confirm they are water resistant. Wore them in the rain, walked through puddles and it didn't mess them up at all. Overall these are a great deal for the price. I think I bought them at around $60 ~ $65. 10/10 would buy again. ... show more

  • Inconsistent boots - Updated 1 year later
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Dark Brown
I ordered these about a year ago. They seemed amazing, good quality workboots. The only issue I noticed is, most of us have one foot that's a little larger or smaller than the other, for me my left foot is always a little bigger. Oddly, with these, the left fits perfectly and the right is tight. Not in length, but in width, as if one is extra wide and the other isn't. The leather is durable and resistant to everything from welding splatter to acids, salt and mud, the waterproofing works great. The laces have stood up to everything and no fraying to shredding so far. But the heel, while I have always used a shoehorn to make sure I don't break down the backing when putting the shoes on, it is still getting warped and lumpy, and while I do a lot of chores and extracurricular things in them, I don't actually use them for my daily job. The soles are holding up great, no splitting or heavy wear like other pairs. No stitching giving way. The color has held up well, maybe a little lighter as they've quite scratched, but impressive otherwise. Maybe I got a bad batch (is batch the right word for a pair of footwear?), but I wouldn't buy these again based on this experience. If the quality were consistent, these would last me 3 years I would guess, but the heel is already getting lumpy and uncomfortable, no matter how careful I have been, and that restricts the toes even more on the foot that already feels tight. Take it for what it's worth, there are a lot of good reviews here. My experience doesn't support this, but maybe you'll have better luck. The left one is great. The right has issues. UPDATED: So, I managed to keep the right one from breaking down as much, and wanted to post an update. I don't know how long or how much use you should get out of a pair of workboots, but as the majority of my life is officework with off hours and weekends in a workshop or yard, I am sure I don't put them to heavy use. Things are coming apart. The rubber soles have held up amazingly, almost no wear, no cracking, splitting, peeling or any of the other issues I have had with most boots, whether work or hiking boots in the past. If this were the only criteria, they would win, hands down! Inside is another story. Visual wear aside (but they do still look decent), the linings are peeling off and I have worn/hot spots that are causing blisters or pain. The loop at the back you can grab to pull them on which I virtually never use has vanished, I assume torn away. There's a flex in the side that pinches the foot when walking. So, even the update reflects the original post. Inconsistent. If the quality were consistent all over, this would have been the best pair I'd ever owned. As it stands, I really don't think I'll buy these again. ... show more
