I broke my wrist and was fitted with a removable cast. After two days the cast began to smell and my arm itched like crazy that I was having to wash the cast every 2/days and use baking soda to remove the smell. Way too much work!! And, I felt it would cause a longer healing process. So I purchased these gloves... total GAME CHANGER and worth every penny!! The seam for the thumb area is irritating, it rubs within the splint causing irritation. The thumb material is not stretchy enough. It caused fabric burn getting the stockinette on/off. Definitely would never buy again. I ended up cutting the thumb way down which ended up defeating the real reason I wanted the spica version of a stockinette. The fabric irritated around the thumb joint and then down at the base of the thumb where the seem is. ... show more
