I am absolutely obsessed with this product. I bought it last week after my big chop into a pixie cut and I HADDDDD to write a review. First of all thank yall for the glove or I would’ve burnt my finger 1 million times . However, this item is now apart of my daily routine. It heats up in less than 60 seconds . It has a switch on the lower left side that allows you to keep it closed or open. It came in a very smooth wool package inside the box. The size makes it easily to travel with. I bought this to style a synthetic wig for a cosplay, I was looking for something with adjustable temperatures and thinner plates. As someone who used straighteners regularly as a teen, this felt SO much more convenient - heated up quickly, auto shut-off was helpful, came with a heat glove, really got close to the roots and made nice curls thanks to the thin plates. The lowest temperature still does a great job without as much risk of burning. I used this for about 3 hours at a time for two days, so I can't speak to it's lifespan. For the price though I think it's 100% worth it, I highly recommend using it for synthetic cosplay wigs as well on the lowest setting. It comes with a bag and locks itself closed for easy storage too, it's not too bulky so it's easy to store with my other craft stuff. This is perfect for bangs, specifically for micro bangs. It’s small enough to make it underneath the bangs and curl them under. I previously used to 1” flat iron and it was still too large to do anything but straighten them. This heats up quickly and glides pretty smoothly over the hair. The only downside is you have to be super careful because it’s so small that there’s not really any protective overhang and the plate can burn you pretty quickly. ... show more
