I don't know what that other reviewer is on about in terms of material costs and construction labor, whoever designed this made it as easy as possible to put together even if you only have two left hands, and the images and info state SPECIFICALLY AND REPEATEDLY that you will have to source the lumber for yourself. If you couldnt tell from the price, this isn't technically a greenhouse kit. This is a greenhouse hardware kit with a plastic cover. All pieces were present, accounted for, and in good condition. It looks like it will be a relatively straightforward build. I will probably modify as I go and instead install poly sheeting as opposed to the plastic cover.     • Very nice easy to build durable portable greenhouse
We found this one a little late for this year and will put it to the real test this fall. The materials arrived and are well made. The kit is easy to put together. You can either use standard lumber or in our case, I decided to use pressure treated "weather resistant" wood. The wood does not come with the kit, so you can purchase that separately. The kit includes: 58 x metal brackets 358 x screws 1 x PVC cover 1 x instruction manual You will need to purchase (16 ) 2"x2"x6' and (15) 2"x2"x8' boards. We ended up just using all 8' boards and cutting them as our local hardware did not have 6' boards. Only a small savings anyhow. Depending on if you pick standard wood or pressure treated you will only have to add about $100-$140 depending on your selection in wood cost to the total project. If you want to add the shelfs you will have to add that cost into the project for those four boards. We will be adding the shelfs, but for now, only keeping the lemon trees in there. In the end you get a sturdy well made, easy to assemble greenhouse for a reasonable cost. ... show more

bummer after ordering I realized the lumber structural framework cost which is not included. I will have to order the lumber for delivery as the length will not fit in my vehicle. Lumber package will cost with tax and delivery $250. WIth this kit cost and the lumber package it will be $350 just for materials, and as a general rule you can usually estimate labor to be about the same as the material cost. All in $700 for this greenhouse kit not including shelving and other greenhouse accessories. Take this into consideration before ordering this kit. This is one of the most incredible kits I've ever ordered. As soon as I saw this I started envisioning a huge variety of use options. Yes it is being marketed as a greenhouse. However if you adds some plywood to the outside this becomes a nice storage shed, chicken coop, etc. The possibilities are really only limited by one's own imagination. As a greenhouse This is a great low cost option with a lot of versatility. Order two of these kits and you can easily extend the length from 8 feet to 16 feet. This is intended to utilize 2x2's. But the brackets could easily accommodate 2x4's for a more robust structure. I even envisioned putting 4 of these into corner positions and extending a much larger greenhouse tarp across the entire thing. Then the size of the interior space becomes enormous. This came with all connecting items including brackets and PVC cover. We only had to buy the lumber. The information on the sight will show what size of lumber is needed, this was very helpful. The PVC cover is 100% waterproof and UV resistant which gives all my plants the protection it needs. It has double doors and a roll up zipper door for air circulation, height adjustable shelves and metal brackets for good stability. It takes a bit to put it together. I did not see the fine print that says lumber not included. I didn't even recognize lumber was needed! I think it will be great one I obtain the needed wood.
