This scooter is very easy to use indoors. It has a tight turning radius and is quiet (other than the start beep). I like being able to switch to the manual mode for positioning. The seat is very comfortable, although on the small side. Great value for the cost. Very pleased with the purchase.

We did 4 Disney parks in 4 Days. By day 2 my bottom was so sore I sat for the other 2. Animal kingdom was the worst because of uneven pavement. I noticed other scooters had much better seats and same quality as this cart. It is a great cart. movement around the house with ease. When we got home I contacted customer support about a better seat, they suggested i get a memory foam pad, so i did great addition to the bottom but the back of seat is still uncomfortable for me. so if you are only using it once or twice i suggest renting a cart with a good seat You aren't stuck with a crappy seat wit no support the seat sucks! ... show more

Advantages: safe, affordable , practical, easy to install, very simple to operate, and can be put into the trunk of an ordinary car. Disadvantages: After being disassembled, the scooter base can be put into the trunk of an ordinary car, but it is still a bit heavy for weak people. Also, because I don't know how its after-sales service is, I am a little worried. Since my 90-year-old parents were often asked about their scooters by neighbors and passers-by during the month they used it, I felt it necessary to update the relevant information. Because the price is affordable, I bought a second in one month . I also learned that the seller’s business model is to make small profits but quick turnover. So a reminder, if you are an older disabled person, you need someone to help you with after-sales maintenance and other aspects. It is also recommended that manufacturers provide comprehensive after-sales insurance services. ... show more

Who’d have thought would have to teach a parent to drive. This scooter is very simple to assemble (though I did have to figure out a few things as instructions are for fully disassembled and it has some pre-assembly). It is lite weight as advertised. I didn’t want to take the base apart (though appears easy) so was easy 2-person lift into vehicle. The multiple beeps to signify a problem are annoying - but mostly understandable. The process to recharge the battery is some concerning for an older person - as is at the base (but honestly I don’t see a better option). The only criticism from my mom was the black on black in some areas made it a bit hard to see for ‘older’ eyes. Bottom line - for the money this is a great scooter. ... show more

We bought this scooter as a gift for my brother. who lives in NYC, while we live in Florida. He has been gradually losing mobility for the past several years to the point where now, at not quite age 65, he can’t safely navigate out onto the street with his rollater walker in his be neighborhood. He was excited about the prospect of new mobility, so when the scooter came with a brake defect—it was so disappointing!!! (Hence the four stars on my original rating.) However, my sister-in-law contacted the company and supplied a video of the problem. Vive arranged for them to return the original scooter and then shipped a new one fairly quickly. The new one arrived yesterday. They charged it up overnight and my brother is thrilled!!! They’ve been exploring all morning. He finally has his independence back! For his privacy, I blocked out his face in the photo, but if you could see it, his expression is so happy!!! Makes a big sister feel wonderful!! The scooter is easy-to-use, maneuverable, compact, sturdy, and pretty fast, too! Update: ZERO STARS!!! The second day my brother took out the replacement scooter, all excited and happy, it suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason!!! The battery was fully charged, the weather was clear, the pavement was level, but my brother and SIL were STRANDED two blocks from their apartment! My 60-something SIL had to PUSH my brother on the scooter all the way back to their building!!! We don’t want another replacement — just a refund. Amazon has assured me that they’ll refund the price if Vive doesn’t, and I’ve already ordered the Pride Go-Go S-74 as a substitute for my brother. (I bought my other brother this model 4 years ago and it’s still going strong.) ... show more

This scooter has been a God send. I am having mobility issues and it allows me to get around. The turn radius is good and the wheels are heavy duty. I like how you can change the speed because there isn't a brake. You just let go of the hand "gas pedal" and it slows down to a stop. My only issue is that there is very little room for your feet. I wear an women's 8 1/2 shoe and I have to put my feet on the platform instead of flat on the scooter. But, everything else makes this scooter worth having. ... show more

This scooter gave me a new life, allowing me freedom to get out and about. When I first received it, the battery would nit stay charged, but the customer service was excellent and they quickly sent me a new battery. I just gone done shopping in a large mall, for several hours, I only used one green dot of battery. Not sure if that makes sense, but needless to say, it worked great.
