The birdbath and fountain are really nice and it works great too. Was easy to assemble. I especially like the fountain extenders which keep the fountain centered in the birdbath. Looks good and functions as expected. I used sand in center post to help weigh it down. The stakes are in place too which should keep fountain in place. This thing is painted, formed plastic foam, but sturdy enough for a bird bath. The solar fountain works and has several spray nozzles to choose from. The only thing I don't like about it is that the solar fountain floats around or is blown around and the water in the fountain is sprayed out of the basin necessitating refilling. If you live in a very dry area such as Nevada or Arizona, the water will evaporate quickly. It damages the little pump for the basin to run dry. That means this bird bath is cute and it works, but you'll need to put water at least daily to keep it working. ... show more

The birdbath itself is nice. The material is thick and pretty sturdy for being plastic. I did use the stakes it comes with and it’s standing fine. HOWEVER - the fountain is crap. It comes with a ton of different nozzle attachments and none of them allow it to be just a gentle flow - it all just shoots everywhere. Add to that the suction cups at the bottom don’t work. They stick when it’s dry and empty, but it’s almost like the whole thing is too buoyant because as soon as you fill it with water, the thing releases and floats around. Combine that with the wild water shooting, and it empties itself out within a day or two. I wish the fountain was better. For this price, it’s not worth a purchase. ... show more

So after reading the reviews I was not expecting much. I ordered this bird bath because it was much cheaper then others and came with a solar powered water pump. It is made of a heavy plastic and is beautifully painted. You can either fill the hallow pole with rocks, water or sand to add some weight if needed but it also comes with three stakes to stake it to the ground. The pump has four plastic straws to attatch to the water pump to keep it centered however the straws are to short to keep the pump completely centered, it does walk some but not so much that it is an issue for me. Some say the pump sprays water outside of the bath and they have to keep refilling it. So far that is not happening however the skys here are overcast today so it may be different on a fully sunny day. Imo for the price you can't beat it and it adds a nice touch to my garden. I hope the birds like it lol ... show more

This bird feeder is very hard to balance in your yard. I had to level the ground, put rock down and keep adjusting…if you’re putting it on the porch it would be easier but then you have to deal with porch bird droppings. The solar fountain does not stay in place and shoots the water outside of the fountain so you are constantly replacing water. I removed the fountain and the surface becomes slimey and green, hard to remove. From a distance it looks metal and is a beautiful design. Easy to assemble. The birdbath is decorative and looks nice. The fountain worked great for the 1st 7 weeks but then just shut off for no reason. I enjoyed having this on my deck but it should last longer than 7 weeks. Very Disappointing!!!
