It's a little much to set up yourself, but definitely doable. The settings take a bit of getting used to as well like setting either a standard temp or an auto on auto off situation where you have to set the temperature for the heat and cool to come on at different levels. It's very high quality but I would like an auto keep it on 70 or something. If you set it to just heat or just ac there's only one number to worry about but for my grandmother it's a lot to learn even when using alexa with it. After installing there were no issues with performance, brightness, or connectivity. It even has a nightlight on and the ability to set routines for the temperature. Definitely reccomend but might take a bit to get used to ... show more

I'm so glad I upgraded my old thermostat with this! Its absolutely so much easier to use and looks 100x better than the old manual thermostat I had. The touch controls are easy to use and the device looks and feels well made. Make sure you set up/calibrate the temperature and humidity. It's simple enough for someone with limited knowledge to set up. Being able to adjust it/monitor from my phone is super cool as well. ... show more
