The gate valve opening could of been located lower on the drum to allow spun honey to drain. The plastic lids drilled screw placement is inaccurate. The lid does not close- had to relocate and red till the factory screw holes.

Price is awesome compared to other brands. With 2, 4, 6 or 8 frames in it... it spins very smooth. Any odd number will cause it to vibrate excessively. Plugged it in the light came on, but when you turn up the knob no rotation or sound nothing. Piece of garbage. I should have got a manual one! I'm so irritated. Harvested over 100 # of honey and I have no way of extracting it.

Drain valve is 3/4 above bottom. You have to tip it on its side to get the honey out. There's a good amount of honey that doesn't drain out.

The media could not be loaded. I do not advise anyone to buy it. The metal is very thin, so when you put full frames on, you feel it will break at any moment. There is rust in all the welding places, when you put the frames the surface of the frame is very close to the inner surface , and the frames place is narrow , and the engine is not as strong as it should be ... show more
