Works, love how these lamps give the light from overhead to illuminate the whole desk. I had a problem installing, it would have the lamp head pointing to the ceiling, had I just turned the lamp head we would be in business. I did read one review that the head had to be removed to reverse it, so I did, wrong just turn the Lamp Head. There is a picture (didn't read and when I did didn't get it) but since I had these types of lamps before you didn't have to do that. Company does reply back even angry ones. So, when I did read the papers there is a 36-month warranty. I picked well, since my last light from another company failed at 8 months. So, the lamp head needs to be turned downward when installing no need to remove the screw at the lamp head, just turn the lamp head. ... show more

    • Space saving, highly customizable
This lamp attaches to the desk with a cushioned clamp, and takes up very little real estate on the desk surface. Visually, though, it is quite large and can reach over half the width of my desk, so if you're looking for something more subtle, this is not it; however, the modern/industrial aesthetic works well for my room, so I like it. The major pro of this lamp is that there five different spots on this lamp where you can adjust the tilt/angle, so if you are finicky about how you want your work space lit, this is the product for you. There are also 4 lighting modes, which can each be made brighter or dimmer. However, the downside is that the lamp does NOT remember the last setting you used. So, if you turn it on night light mode because your partner is sleeping, but then you turn it off and then back on, it can be a little shocking. That's why I docked one star. It would have been better to either design this lamp to remember your last setting or make the first setting the dimmest mode before you cycle to the brighter modes. The indicator light on the switch is also quite bright and can interfere with sleep, but there is actually a way to toggle that off, which is a thoughtful design touch. The lamp does not feel noticeably hot after use, which is also very nice. All in all, with the minor exception of not remembering your last setting, this lamp is well-designed, looks good, and is a pleasure to use. ... show more

    • The springs support strong, not like a cheap IKEA model
I replaced my cheap IKEA desk lamp with this. The IKEA lamp has weak springs that never hold the lamp where you need it. This lamp holds perfect.

This is a really nice desk lamp, and I like it a lot. It is light weight but made really well, and has a lot of great features. The packaging is also designed to protect the lamp during shipment, and all the included parts. were received in perfect condition. Cheap P.O.S is dead after my 3rd painting session. Seemed to be a short on the controller that switches the different modes. i really liked the light it provided but if it can’t last longer than a week, whats the damn point. look elsewhere.
