I use it to sterilize groceries and this one is too small to handle an 18-count carton of eggs which my earlier model did. Pros: Works as advertised. Process is relatively quick. Spacious! Cons: Kind of bulky for traveling. USB connector access under handle is awkward.

The feeble amount of UVC available was insufficient to sterilize anything. I tried two measuring systems both showed no effect on THE SURFACE of the medical tools I was attempting to sterilize. I contaminated the surface of two batches of instruments. One batch was run through two cycles of UV light. the surfaces of the instruments were swabbed with q tips and run across the surface of two different growth mediums. After the appropriate time in an incubator the bacteria, mold, and fungi count was the same. This indicated to me that this sterilizer bag was useless. I think there is a grave danger that a false sense of protection will cause a lot of problems. Thrush, a common mouth problem for infants showed no difference between uvc treatment and no treatment. ... show more
