Description

On may 12, 2008 at Washington, d.C., The postal service re-issued the non- denominated first-class mail definitive forever stamp (liberty bell). The stamp was designed by carl t. Herman of Carlsbad, California. The stamp was first issued in 2007. The forever stamp will always be valid as first-class postage on standard envelopes weighing one ounce or less, regardless of any subsequent increases in the first-class rate. The stamp art depicts the liberty bell, which is perhaps the most prominent and recognizable symbol associated with American independence. Over the years, the historic significance of the bell's message has transcended our national borders, and today the liberty bell is an international icon of freedom. Replicas of the liberty bell exist in all fifty states and the district of Columbia. The stamp art features a computer-generated image of the liberty bell by nationally acclaimed artist tom engeman of Brunswick, Maryland. His previous projects for the postal service include stamped cards for Carlsbad caverns national park (2002), Ohio university (2003), and Columbia university (2003), as well as the 2003 American eagle definitive stamp, and the national world war ii memorial stamp issued in 2004. Made in the USA.

  • That they are marked forever
Size: 20 stamps
Older forever stamps sold at less than current rate. Work the same way (peel & stick). A good buy. Shipped well packaged.

  • I keep USPS Forever mailing Stamps on hand
Size: 20 stamps
I don't use stamps like I use to but I keep some around just in case, the only stamps I buy are Forever mailing stamps. So if I buy stamps this year in 2022 I can still use them in 2023, nice to know because the stamps won't be wasted. Lately it so many designs I can choose from so many that I can start a very cool collection of them. No more old-school licking they come already pre sticky, just peel and put on your letters. I like buying my Forever stamps from Amazon, saving money, and getting them mailed right to my doorstep. ... show more

  • It's An American Stamp
Size: 20 stamps
What do you want me to say? They're stamps. If you need stamps buy them. These things are good for one stamp per one ounce of mail. So basically any plain letter and whatnot. If you think its over an ounce then weigh it. 1 Stamp Covers the postage for up to one ounce of postage regardless of if the cost of the post goes up. Seriously, no matter if the postage goes up it's: 1 Stamp Covers Up To One Ounce (1=1;2=2;3=3;etc.) Please NOTE: Do not buy these stamps if you are not mailing things through the American Postal System. If you do not live in America and try to mail things using these stamps your local post office my think you are very dull and probably tell you to get a not stupid stamp. ... show more

  • They really do work!!
Size: 20 stamps
At first I was skeptical - I was like, "seriously, I stick these on an envelope, and the Post Office will just deliver my letters to people?" Well, after a few tries, it turns out that statement is *mostly* correct. You still have to write an address on the envelope - *in addition* to sticking one of these stamps on there. Took me a few tries to get this combination down, but now I'm like a freaking letter-mailing genius. Pros: They really do work! All three recipients received my letters within mere days! Cons: You still have to write addresses on the envelope (otherwise the Post Office won't deliver your letters) Not as effective for mailing cats (they are apparently able to remove them before the mailman comes) ... show more
