These were perfect size, they aren’t bulky under my shelf, they are just the right brightness, and have really good motion detection. They auto shut off which is nice, but you can also just turn it on to leave it on and turn it completely off. The charges last about a week for us (sometimes less, sometimes more) on the motion sensing setting. This is pretty good because ours is on our coffee shelf which is used daily, and right in our walkway to leave our apartment and right in front of our cat’s food and water bowl (yes it detects when she walks past). I alternate the two lights and store them in a basket while the other is in use (don’t have a good place for the other one yet). Charging only takes about an hour or two. I like that you can mount the magnets and then easily remove to charge the lights. You could also get rechargeable battery blocks to charge the lights. It comes with two USBc chargers (one for each light) but you could potentially use any USBc. Would definitely buy again for future use. Will come back and update if they stop working in less than a year. (The stickiness of the metal pieces for the lights to magnetize to is also extremely strong. We placed one of the lights sideways, which caused us to have to take it off to restart, and it still stuck a second time and left no residue, plus is holding the light up easily. So far so good. Lights charged fast. They cover a good amount of area. I keep mine on auto only so I can say how auto works, I haven't tried the other option. Light quality is great super bright , even the dull feature has a good amount of light. They appear to be heavy duty, and are super easy to Install. Always doubtful how well this type of light work but I decided to jump on the bandwagon and try these. The price was right and had gobs of features. The key on all these lights are how long do they maintain the charge. Well, after two weeks they are still going strong. Since they are rechargeable you don’t have batteries to replace. Ok now on to the features. The motion sensors are great and work the way they’re suppose to. I should mention that I am using these for under the cabinets in the kitchen. The light is sufficient at maximum brightness and it’s too cumbersome to be changing light intensity on a regular basis. Installation was a breeze. The adhesive pads are super strong but make sure before applying you clean with rubbing alcohol so that the adhesive grabs the way it’s suppose to. The package comes with small screws so you can actually screw the pads onto the surface. So for under the counter I give this 5 stars. I have also installed some in my closet. There the results are less desirable than if you actually had a lighted closet. Closet need more light period. I ended up installing two lights per closet on each of the upper side walls and there I get ok lighting so see. I guess I may play around with the closet lights some more. In hind sight I probably should have purchased the larger lights with more power. ... show more
