I was looking for a smallish, comfortable backpack for carrying my laptop and other items when on vacation. I was using a more traditional laptop case, which was a small canvas briefcase with shoulder strap. This is obviously much more practical and efficient. Great quality and comfortable to wear. Not too big, but it carries plenty of stuff. Just used it on a week long vacation, including carrying it on planes to and from home, and it meet every test. My only complaint, and it's somewhat in jest -- there are perhaps too many pockets on this pack. I literally had to search all of them at times when I couldn't find what I was looking for. I am so impressed with this backpack that I bought 3 more for friends. I fly often and hate putting things in the overhead compartment. I was looking for a backpack that would protect my laptop plus fit under an airplane seat with easy access to the things I am carrying. This bag is perfect for this. Somethings that I had not considered before purchasing. I have a bad back and have never had shoulder and waist pads on my other backpacks, this is great when bag is really loaded down and walking great distances. The wide shoulder straps also really help. I was very concerned with the material getting dirty from being placed under airplane seats. The construction and materials are impressive the bag still looks new after almost a year of use. I have paid twice as much for past laptop bags and they did not have the features or held up as well as this bag. The bag has so many compartments, I have yet to use them all. I love the drink holders on the sides and they are perfect size for 20-32 oz bottles. If I had a complaint it would be the 2 cinch straps at the bottom on the front of the bag. The media could not be loaded. When I ordered this, the brand was unfamiliar and I thought I was taking a risk on this backpack. One of the backpack that was different than your standard Technical backpack, but also had the functionality that the Technical backpacks do didn’t want that standard ugly black backpack for work. This backpack not only is pretty amazing aesthetically it’s super rugged feeling and holds a lot of stuff. Maybe not as much as the “traveling” backpack- like a suit case deal, but for a quality heavy duty daily pack, this is awesome! — Durable zippers, quality canvas. I bought this backpack for my 8th grader and he loves it. It is well made and very sturdy. Has lots of pockets and the attention to detail is impressive. I can see my son using it through 4 years of high school. The company didn’t have the grey color we wanted in stock so we ended up buying the green one.
