So I was a bit sceptical when ordering these that they were magnetic, but the hold is excellent! Also the packaging makes it extremely easy to attach these hooks on the side of your hopper evenly and level. I placed these on my Traeger and they will hold quite a bit. It takes considerable shear to make these move. To properly place them I had to hold them along an edge to get them placed where I wanted and then bring them flat since they don't move easily after placement (though you can take them off and try again as often as you need to).
