Bought a new laptop that came with only 2 USB and no wired internet? So I needed a USB hub and USB wired internet connection. This device provided both in only unit and so far works just fine. Only complain would be that the cable is a little short, so when working I need to keep the laptop on the edge of the table to allow the HUB to hang over the side out of the way. ... show more

Plugged it into a USB standard end to a USB3 adapter and put into my Surface Pro so I could have more standard USB ports for my external mouse. Plugged in the ethernet cable into the RJ45 and it worked instantly without any need for setup or drivers or anything. Now I have a setup for my main desk in the house with the big dock, and I have a setup in my little RV office without having to uncable and take both Surface and dock in order to have wire speeds.
