Forget about easy to set up, this thing is a cacophony of awkward fitting parts. I had to manufacture a set of spacers for the braces to keep the fan and filter from collapsing. After 4 hours and some creative language, it finally was ready for my plants. At this point it performed great. Fan is whisper quiet, and no light leaks out.
