I will add a full body picture when I get a chance, but I wanted to get this review up in time for Halloween orders. I LOVE IT! It's absolutely adorable and so flattering. I wear my 50s dresses with a quality petticoat to get the big flair in the skirt. This fabric is actually a good quality thickness though. So for those who don't wear petticoats, it could still look great. I usually have a problem with these dresses not being made for larger busts. I'm a 42DDD and this looks so great on me! The secret is the stretchy back! Beneath the lace-up back is very stretchy so it would give a flattering fit on a wide range of bust sizes. I'm wearing a strapless bra in the picture. I was afraid the back might be too low to hide it, but that's not a problem at all. The side zipper is, of course, clutch! No help needed to get in an out. I'm impressed with the fabric thickness. These are usually a very cheap fabric. This one is durable and absolutely no transparency. The top is even lined. I usually wear a 2x in normal women's cloths (or an XL in unisex shirts). I sized up to a 3X because that's always a good idea in these types of dresses. And it's a perfect fit. So I say size up one size for sure. I'm bookmarking this dress to order other patterns later! For now, though, I can't wait to wear this to Halloween brunch! 100% recommend! UPDATE: My sister in law loves it so much, she ordered one for herself. Twinsies! ... show more

I purchased this dress for a retro Hawaiian luau barbecue. I was surprised that it was made so well given the price. If you want that classic 1950s flare, as depicted in the photo, you will need a petticoat. It still looks good without a petticoat, but it will be a little more flat like the girl in the video. Overall, I am very happy with this dress, it’s very close to the photo pictured, it’s mostly cotton so it will breathe in the heat of an outdoor barbecue, it’s flattering on an hourglass figure, the cinching in the back makes it adjustable, and the vibrant print is fun and unique. The only drawbacks are that some of the pineapples show up in weird ways on the seams (the dress featured in the picture shows the best rendition of pineapples lining up or not conflicting with each other), the elastic paneling at the back ripples at the top seam (this may not be noticeable if it’s cinched enough), and it definitely isn’t wash and wear-needs to be ironed or dry cleaned. Fabric colors will likely fade if machine washed regularly and will likely shrink if washed in warm/hot or dried with heat (95% cotton). ... show more

This dress runs true to size & fits just as shown in product pix. The corset like lacing in the back is functional to some extent (but don't expect it to sn#tch you in as much as a corset could). The pattern is cute....and that's kinda my problem. It's so cute that it looks juvenile. The cherries look exactly as pictured in the product listing so its totally my bad. I should have realized that the print is fairly large which (in my humble opinion) makes it look like a "novelty" style and I prefer a more vintage look. The cherry pattern is so large that to me, this dress is more red than black. And when I tried on red shoes with it, it was too much red (It looked better with black shoes). I have another dress with cherries on it, also from Amazon. The cherries on that dress are smaller, giving it a more classic look. That dress looks more black than red because the cherry pattern is so small. So wearing red shoes looks really nice because it compliments & brings out the red in the cherries. Moral of the story... Cute dress if cute is the look you're going for. Lol. I think it'd be ideal for someone under the age of 22-ish. ... show more

I don't think I've ever tried on a dress as an adult and thought to myself "yes, I like this dress." I've been trying to find a couple dresses I like to wear on a cruise next spring that could possibly double as a suit coverup when we go dine. I tried this one on and I'm shocked to say - I love it! Good fit, flattering, fabric quality seems good, and it is so stinkin' cute! My 8 yr old and 11 yr old saw me in it and immediately demanded I get one for them too. I (5'6", 160lbs) like my clothes a little on the loose side, so ordered a large instead of the recommended medium. I probably would have fit a medium, but would have felt uncomfortable in it. Large wasn't roomy on my frame, but not snug either. Maybe the best feature is that if you tie the halter tie just right, you can cinch up the chest high enough to hide any armpit fat bulge ;) I may actually get other patterns with this dress, highly recommend...and I can't remember the last time I wrote an Amazon review! ... show more

As pictured. Just adorable! FYI, I am 4'10", 115lbs. I followed the size chart and it suggested an XL! I usually wear smalls and mediums. But it fit OK, a tiny bit big. Because I have to take up length I washed and dried it first. I'm so glad I did because it did shrink and now fits like a glove!

Great dress for those of us with curves/big bust. Hard to find a dress that goes over hips, hugs the waist but holds the girls in. If you're like me, then Fit n' Flare it is!! And halters are great! Corset tie up back, PERFECTION! These dresses are lightweight cotton, great for outdoor or summer get togethers. Halter tie, lets you support the girls. Belt at waist to snatch it all in. and the best: a corset type tie up back, so it can fit any size! Its a little uncomfortable on back with the all the ties (one at neck, one at corset waist, another for belt) but... it looks great! I bought 3 different patterns and love them all!!! (I'm 5'8", 42D, and wearing 2XL) ... show more

Fits to size! I am 5'9, 200 lbs, 38D. I ordered a XXL and it fits just right. It's not exactly "true pink"...more of a pale salmon color. This is what it looked like right out of the package, not ironed yet & without a strapless bra. The dress was only okay. I ended up returning for something more glamourous. The dress seemed durable and performance wise it could've worked for someone who wants a simple dress. No holes or wrinkles. It was cute but not for my purposes.
