Put these bulbs in a new light fixture. At first they were fine, but after a couple of hours they began to flicker and would not go to full brightness. I thought maybe they got too hot or something, but they were still cool to the touch. These bulbs are very bright and have a warm light. The antique shape is great to be displayed in any light fixture. What I love about these bulbs is that it is super bright but with a warm color. It is great anywhere you want a lot of light, but don't want the color to be cold and office-like. I use them in my bathroom, and it looks great. This bulb is well-built and should last a long time. This style of light bulbs with yellow filament are the best compared to the ones with a white plastic shell. I have had several of the filament style for years now and NONE of them have gone out.
