  • Bought on prime day!
Got a tip from the wood whisperer that these were on a prime day sale and I tell ya, it couldn’t have been more perfect timing. I needed one and this fits the bill, holds a good amount of lumber!

  • Decent utility rack for the price
I initially got this rack to store bulk lumber but ended up using the space for something else so I put them in our outdoor shed as long-item storage. Assembly is pretty easy even though there are no instructions. The hardest part was figuring out where to put the sticky-washers. I ended up putting them between the posts and the ears on the rack arms to help fill the large gap there. Fully assembled each "shelf" is about 14 1/2" deep by 6" tall. In practical terms there's enough space for about 16 2x4's on each shelf. For any sort of storage like this I always mount them into studs, especially if I expect it to hold heavy loads. The plastic anchors might work for concrete but you're better off with purpose-built concrete anchors. Do *NOT* put these into wallboard unless you want some really big holes in your wallboard left over after the weight tears them out of your wall. I found that not all the arms were completely level with some of them angled downward, and I ended up moving a couple of them around so they matched more closely. I'd recommend test fitting the arms before cinching down the locknuts so you can move them if needed. I think it would be better if there were an extra couple of inches of height between the arms but for the price ($21 on Amazon) they aren't bad at all. ... show more

  • Resin projects? Extra lumber laying around for future projects? GET THIS!
I was super hesitant to order these, but now that we’ve finally mounted these— I AM THRILLED that I took the leap!👏🏻 Our garage had become a barrage of dizzying lumber piles to climb over. Both my fiancé and I do a variety of woodworking projects. He’s into wood-burning, and using the CNC machine he built for various different laser wood projects. I’m into making resin tables, and beyond! After months of gathering wood at discount prices everywhere we could think of— from the discount piles at Home Depot, to our local Goodwill’s recent donations pile— we quickly had an overwhelming amount of lumber consuming every inch of our 1.5 car garage. Just this ONE wall-mountable set has allowed us to make enough room to easily walk into our own garage again. It’s incredibly sturdy, so long as you follow the directions to the T! They make it very clear in the instructions how to mount this yourself. I would highly recommend using at LEAST 2 people when drilling/mounting your equipment…if not 3!☺️ Seriously, whether you’re looking to make more room in your garage…or you just want a wall-mounted storage rack for your uncured resin projects to be able to dry without being in the way or getting bumped into…GET THIS RACK! Overall, a 5 out of 5 stars 🌟 product. Extremely satisfied! ... show more

  • Works well after installation without instructions
The storage rack comes in a compact box with hardware only, i.e the rack and mounting screws, no single word of instructions or warnings. Determining by the mounting screws, I assume it provides two mounting options: 1) On the stud with the lag screws;2)On the concret with the anchors. The condition in my installation spot only allows mounting on the stud with the lag screws, one problem here is the leg screw is definite over the safety depth of 1-3/4" into the stud that there is some risk of drilling into the electric cord between the stud that I drill the hole and check by visual to make sure there is no wire/cable on the path of the screws. It does require a level for the installation that I used a laser level to mark the horizontal line on the wall. After installation, the rack works well with a heavy load of 2x4, 4x4s, and several plywood boards, in total probably around 300-400lb and no distortion was noticed. Although the weld seems to spotting on the joint on certain points, it is still pretty sturdy so far. A good choice for home use of lumber/wood storage and would be great if some instructions can be included in the package. ... show more

  • No instructions, mount into wall studs
This is a simple wall rack for storage of lumber or other long objects on the wall. I mounted mine just above the electrical outlets in my workshop and was able to get all that lumber off the floor. The rack will hold up to about 13" wide boards, so put your widest and longest ones on first, then you can stack shorter pieces on top of that. A couple notes about installation (since none were provided): 1) Do not use the included plastic sheetrock anchors for this - drill holes into wall studs and screw the lag screws into the holes. 2) The mounting brackets should be installed with the end on top that has the holes for the pivoting bar closest to the end/top. 3) I used a level to get the first mounting bracket plumb, then used a straight board across the top of that with a level on the board to get the other bracket top level with it, then marked its hole locations. 4) There are some plastic washers included. They have a sticky side that is covered with paper. I peeled off the paper and stuck the washers to the INSIDE of the orange pivoting rack bar holes, so that the washers take up the space between the bar and the mounting bracket. I hope that helps. ... show more
