This is a great ladder. I got the 12.5 foot. It is high enough to reach the top of my 1 story roof. That is why I bought it so that I could clean the gutters. Super convenient for a 20’ ladder. Easy to store and operate. The only downside is that it’s a bit sketchy feeling when you have it fully extended and get about half way up it. It bows pretty easily and is quite bouncy while you climb it. I’m 6’ and 195 lbs so I don’t think I’m overloading it. For what it’s worth, I have been up and down it several times and had no issues. It’s just a bit unnerving when it bounces or flexes so much. For the convenience this offers, I will deal with the spring board issue! ... show more

I have several areas of my home which need a 12 ft ladder to reach, one being an indoor smoke alarm. This ladder was so easy to extend and reach to change batteries. It's lightweight to carry and can fit in a very small space for storage or transportation.

The media could not be loaded. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LADDER TO ANYONE THAT VALUES THEIR LIFE. I owned this ladder for almost one year and used it many times. Today while I was taking down my Christmas lights, it collapsed as I was stepping off of the roof and onto the ladder. By divine miracle I did not fall to the ground as both of me feet were no longer on the ladder and I was able to catch myself on the rain gutter. All of the tabs were locked and upon inspection I discovered that one of them one of them was defective. See pictures. This ladder is very easy to use (portable) and very sturdy. I like how I can extend it to intermediate lengths so it works for many applications. I bought it to allow met to get on the roof of my travel trailer (no built in ladder) and it works very well for that.
