Bought this on Dec 31 last year, pretty much on a whim, looking to replace a comforter I’d had for over a decade. I was looking for something not too expensive that was also comfortable, preferably machine washable and potentially could be used for most of the year. The description of this promised to be all of that and it has 100% delivered. This comforter is super soft and light, at first I thought it was too light to keep warm in winter but it is not the case. It worked wonderfully for winter and now that the weather is starting to turn it doesn’t feel stifling. Put it in the washing machine/dryer recently for the very first time and initially I was hesitant because I had seen some reviewers mention how theirs had ripped during wash, thankfully mine held up great and it came out good as new. I should say that even if it had ripped I would still recommend this comforter because it truly is one of the softest most comfortable comforters I’ve owned and it does have a very affordable price. ... show more

The main reason I bought this comforter was to find one that would repel dog hair. Or one that at least doesn't act like a magnet. I bought a down alternative comforter 25 years ago at Value City and hung onto it all these years for that very reason. But time to change ... As for this one, hair deposits on it and sticks but very little and not too bad. You can shake it off. This is not a very thick comforter but thicker than it looks when it arrives. It's soft and warm and a good value. If it failed the dog hair challenge I was going to use it in the car to line the trunk. But no trunk for this blanket! And I have a white dog so on a dark grey quilt it is very obvious. ... show more

This comforter is incredible warm. I keep my house at 67° at night and I wake up sweating with this comforter. It’s soft, pretty, and very good quality considering the price. However, I literally have to return it because it’s so hot. I live in TN and there’s no way this is going to work in the mild TN climate. For a colder climate it would be great. I took off a star because part of the comforter was a bit discolored, darker than the rest. I was going to keep it despite that but it’s just too hot 😂 ... show more

If you’re wondering if it is going to keep you warm, it is. Looking at the photos I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was concerned it would be too thin and not very good at keeping warmth, but the blanket keeps us nice and toasty. I’m not sure what it’s stuffed with, but it has weight to it and keeps warmth, which is different than the typical polyester stuffing. It has some fluff to it, but it’s not deeply fluffy. I love the diamond stitch. Other than holidays, the duvet will likely not be covered, and the diamond stitch adds a little flare and it keeps the stuffing from moving around. I have not washed it yet, and I have not tested a duvet cover on it. I imagine the duvet cover will work fine with all the tie loops provided. There are reviews that said the duvet washes well and the stitches hold up. I found comfort in that and it helped solidly my decision to buy it. Great quality, keeps warm, good price ... show more

The package was packed so tightly that the comforter was compressed. I put it in the dryer with a few balls and then it started to fluff. The room I am in is very cold at night, maybe 45 degrees F or less. I had many blankets that were too heavy on me and I was still cold. With this comforter I was warm right away, no more shivering!!
