These are great! It blocks the wind and cold very well. I've worn it totally covering my face with the drawstring pulled snug leaving just a space to see out. Or with string loosened and the face flap up. Or with the hood down, but the face flap up over mouth and nose. Or totally pulled down around my neck for just a scarf. Have even worn it in light rain while walking the dog, and it didn't soak through. I bought the three-pack of black, blue and pink. My husband uses the black one, and he likes it, too. Over all they were good for skiing, but they are not heavyweight. 100 0/0 polyester. Also came in vacum sealed package which was interesting but not a bad idea - I recommend pre-washing before wearing. med-low heat in dryer for 25 minutes seem fine for them, but be careful if you dryer runs hotter than others ... show more
