No way is this any good being near replica of an entire fitness machine like you’d find in a gym for UNDER $300, right?! I am blown away at how much I love this & it has lived up to much better than expectations. If you are anything like me, you have these ambitions & bursts of motivation- but usually when you’re scrolling through your device. The thought is fantastic & you promise yourself it’s a justified purchase- you “WILL be making resolutions & would feel more inclined if you had this in your routine!” right? For the first time in my overly optimistic but constantly failing fitness agenda- this thing actually freaking WORKS! Really. It’s not a glorified clothing rack, jungle gym for my cat or mimicking the antiques in the corner. I am not only using it, but enjoying it & actually appreciate it being somewhat of a roommate. The instructions are a love/hate relationship. Insanely detailed to the point they’re downright confusing & you have to read the pages multiples times while wondering “can I just hire someone to do this?!” on the brink of throwing a tantrum (but realizing only your cat is going to hear it & probably wants you to fail). By the time you want to question why assembling is more of a workout than the actual promise of the machine- BAM! You realize those extremely detailed diagram pictures with numbers that align to the instructions actually make sense. While it seems complicated, it’s actually pretty elementary & you feel like finding your old school teachers on Facebook to show off your common core skills combined w/ a hint of physics, basic sense & English. To put it simple: be patient with the instructions. It’s easier than it seems. Performance wise- spot on. It took a minute to get the hang of the adjusting elements- but there are adequate settings & it’s quite versatile! It fits just about any height or length for the average person. The resistance is great, also adjusted to your preference. Adjusting anything takes seconds. And, the “ride” is very smooth. No squeaks or creaks, down to the stability being extremely sturdy. The seat cushion is comfortable enough, better than a standard bicycle but I think one of those gel cushions would be a lush touch! Some of us rely on our peach for that lengthy rest & recoup after a single maneuver aspect. And with that being said, you’ll want to use some comfortable fitness shoes with the pedals. They’re of decent size & w/ traction. But you aren’t gonna want to be trying it barefoot or anything aside from fitness shoes. If I can manage to swap slippers for sneakers- so can you! I believe in you!! The electronic device to track your stats is basic. It is actually nicer than expected for taking 1 AA battery- more data tracking than I’d thought & it is accurate to the point it aligned with my Apple fitness tracking up to 93%! Winning! I can start and stop when I want without having to press a million buttons. Better yet- you don’t have 30K options & programs to review or choose from! It doesn’t ask for your entire health chart or prompt between 50 workout scenarios. You press the button & go like you are the awkward kid at the middle school dance as “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa play. This gem gives you a run for your saved money on not donating to the actual gym you never visit. Instead, you are watching YouTube videos or Prime in the comfort of your own room while burning, toning & conquering. It’s slim design doesn’t take up much space plus the lightweight aspect- easy to move or store. For those that want it out of sight/out of mind that’s a dream come true! I chose to keep mine directly in the walking path to the couch- I have high hopes to change habits. So far I have not pushed it out of the way because I really AM enjoying it! To sum it up: this is a steal for the price! The quality is good, the functionality is more than anticipated, experience better than expected & I’m actually using the first piece of fitness equipment I’ve ever bought without shoving it into a corner! I got this a few weeks ago and wanted to see how it would work. I have trouble with my joints,, and it's not too hard on them. It's easier than a lot of other machines (in my opinion). The movement is easy to do, and it definitely gives a burn. I think this will be a good long-term workout as it works a lot of muscles without taking up an ungodly amount of space. My only complaint is that the holder for the phone doesn't stay sideways; the phone's weight makes the holder tilt sideways, and it doesn't stay horizontal, so it's hard to use with their videos. You do get free workout videos, though, and some easy ones for beginners. Over all, it's a good machine and I'd recommend it. Great bang for your buck. ... show more

  • The best compact medium workout machine I ever had

I was skeptical before I got this. The first day of workout, I was very surprised how much it did. And how you can get best benefit by adjusting the settings especially the bands, and the handle height and seat height. Went and bought this after I heard some talk about the DB method. When comparing I found this is a lot cheaper and does a lot more than db method. So I was insistent with my partner to get this. I can't justify paying almost $300 for just glutes. At least if it doesn't work it won't break your bank and chance to return it. Someone here said this machine is too advanced to use. I have no idea how. This is by far the easiest machine at the lowest setting and gets to medium difficulty. Anyone can use this as long as they're in the recommended 220lb weight category as the machine is not that heavy and large to support larger weight class. It's by no means cheap material for the weight class. But given the price it's not also unnecessarily bulky and huge. If you use much heavier material , it would be so bulky and hard to move it around. So they did a good job. So there's a compromise. I did about 150 squats the first day and I feel the burn on both lower and upper body muscles. I'm diabetic , so I noticed with 150 squats on this my post food sugar level went from 275 to 165. One thing though. If you're someone who spends 3 or 4 days at a gym 2 or more hours , then it might not be a great machine. This is for a normal home workout, which will help you keep your muscle tone normal without sag and puts some strength into your shoulders, arms, legs, glutes. You won't be ripped with this. I set this up in front of my tv as I work mostly from home and when I watch my shows I just get on it and do it 2-3 times a day for 15-20 mins max. Somebody was complaining about the seat. The thing is it's like the bicycle seat (actually it's larger than a typical bicycle seat) and don't try to use the seat to put the all your body weight on it. Use it to just barely support your weight and use the legs and arms mostly so you won't even touch your seat much. You can literally feel the burn in few squats. I noticed you can benefit a lot more, if you use all 3 bands (for more muscle toning) and also set it at the highest handle height and lowest seat height. I do the following: * Set my hands on the upper portion of the handle and and pull your body down all the way to rear of the seat (where you're basically hanging and putting all the weight on the upper body instead of the seat which gives great workout for upper body and also stretches you so well ). * If you get knee pain in the beginning like I did on one leg, I shifted my weight to the better leg and slowly increased weight to the other later and alternate. But you can always start off with lowest setting and highest seat height * I also stand up and lean back and stretch your back and use one hand and work some other muscles and then alternate hands * I also use one hand and one leg and shift back and forth which puts a lot more weight All in all I'm very happy. But Hope it lasts long . And it's convenient that I can jump on it anytime in front of my TV and put it elsewhere quick when there are visitors. ... show more
