The material is particle board and broke apart while we were building it. The seller's solution was to ask which parts broke which would be fine if it was only one or two pieces. However every single piece cracked. There was no way to recuperate any of the unit so we had to throw it away. Do not recommend. ... show more

Very hard to buy something when you can't see it and touch it so I hope this helps. This was very easy to put together. Comes in two boxes and did not arrive on the same day so try not to panic. Very heavy, will need two people to move. The heaviness is a plus because many pieces are quite solid! This is not something that will fall over easily, would need much effort. I would definately recommend this piece and can see having it for many years. I am actually not going to use it for the purpose I bought it for only because I really wanted it in white for the space. There is nothing to fear making this purchase! You will not be dissapointed. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble
The screws for the hinges are too soft. Ended up stripping the head on a couple of them. Pins for the adjustable shelves are very short short and thin. I’m skeptical they will work with the weight it claims they can hold .

    • Not a great value for the money
I bought this storage cabinet to use as a wardrobe for clothing. I am disappointed that a majority of the major panels are manufactured with glued particle board materials and not solid wood panels, which are covered with wood looking laminate sheeting. In my opinion, the cabinet is a little pricey for the quality, especially since you have to put it together yourself. If I would have known this, I would have sprung for a few more bucks and purchased a real wooden piece of furniture. Doesn’t seem to be that sturdy. I hope it will hold up to daily use. Time will tell. It’s a nice looking piece, just wish it was real wood. Even if it were made out of pine wood, it would be better than glue chip wood. ... show more

    • Assembly Hard
Assembly is hard. The instructions are to confusing can lead to mistakes when assembling. Easler beaks because it not sturdy. Cheap veneer, wood splits at screw joints leading to unstable.
