My mom is a centenarian and getting in and out of bed was becoming more difficult, impinging on her ability to be independent. This item worked very well for her. Beware of overuse syndrome. She was now using one hand much more and her wrist began to hurt because she was suddenly using it in a way to which it was not accustomed. I rated it with a 4 because it did not come with the advertised organizing pouch.
