There are so many options available from various brands I'd never heard of, that I wasn't sure which one to pick. I knew that I wanted glass for the mask, and a rubber nose that allowed you to pinch your nose without taking your goggles off. I also wanted a modern snorkel with a float and the valve at the bottom to make clearing everything easier. I didn't need fins, as those seem to accumulate and never get lost compared to the snorkels/masks. This one checked all the boxes for me, while being in the middle for cost. I like the color, and it makes it easy to match the snorkel with the mask when you have a bag full of them for the family. Quality seems good. I haven't had it for long so I can't say how durable it actually is, but nothing feels cheap. I like the way the clip works where you put the strap through and snap it on. It's easier to take the snorkel off if you just want the mask, and doesn't have a little piece on the mask strap that you can lose, or isn't compatible with other brands. This one could mix and match later on when I inevitably lose the mask. It can leak a little around my mustache, but that's basically every mask. This snorkeling set works great. We recently bought this for our trip down to the Bahamas and it worked wonderfully. The seal was tight and there wasn't any water leakage into the goggles. While these goggles did not fog up on its own, just a tip that I learned from my scuba instructor, to prevent any type of goggles from fogging up, apply a little but of baby shampoo to the inside of the goggles. Anyway, I have tried other snorkeling sets and this reasonably priced set certainly served its purpose. The fit was comfortable, the set was lightweight and the field of vision was terrific. The breathing tube also allowed me to breath without laboring for air. The tube did, indeed, prevent water from getting into the tube while underwater. Overall, this set made it a pleasure for me to be underwater. I will be purchasing another pair for my son. Two thumbs up for this snorkeling set. A good purchase. ... show more

After using the snorkel, the mask is legit, Materials. Well-made constructed and fit and felt comfortable. The snorkel on the other hand, feels like the materials could be a little stiffer. The snorkel doesn’t really stay in place, flops over. Which is not a deal breaker. The issue is the water drain valve is too weak and it takes in water. More than have the time I had to come up due to breathing water in. The float seems to be cheap material compared to the full-face snorkel mask. Overall, I like the product The mask using tempered glass, the easy adjustments for the straps. Color is nice and bright which has nothing to do with my opinion. The snorkel I would like to see a stronger valve or a redesign to stop the water intake. The ball valve on top works it was just hard to tell if it leaked. Since the drain valve was, while testing had someone observe the snorkel to make sure it stayed above water, and still took on water. I would recommend the snorkel for a beginner to use in the pool, If changes were made I would re consider after testing to use in open water. ... show more

Many snorkel masks can be overpriced; plastic or rubber adjusting straps often break on masks when trying to tighten masks to get the perfect fit. This mask, however, is both durable and a good buy for the price! The mask fits comfortably on my face and creates a great seal preventing water from entering. Only critique is that the snorkel should have a modular way to adjust the height on where it sits on the mask. It already locks into place nicely and easily but it's possible it may ride a bit low on the mask based on the individual who uses it. Well, I tried an earlier version of this (two actually) and had issues with the mask seal and it leaking. We were offered a newer version (to be fair, for free) to test. Somewhat dubious, I gave it a shot. Where the other(s) leaked, even in shallow water, this one seems to have licked the problem. Note; all masks leak a little if you have facial hair. My wife likes it much more as it didn't leak when she tried in the pool. The snorkel really shines; much better than the old ball and cage of yesteryear. It lets almost no water into the snorkel on a surface dive, has a purge valve and takes very little effort to clear. I would buy it again. ... show more

My family just went the caribbean and used our new snorkel in those beautifil crystal clear waters. This snorkel was great and I really like that it has the float in it that does not allow water to accidently come down the tube while snorkeling. My daughter is not a huge snorkeling fan, but she really liked this snorkel. She ended up snorkeling for about an hour with it which was a shock to me. It did not fog up, leak, or have any other problems while using it in the ocean. I used it as well and would recommend anyone interested in getting a snorkel would be happy with this brand. I have used this mask and snorkel in my pool. I like the mask a lot it does a good job and seals well. As in all my masks I use tropical seas mask defogger and it stays fog free for hours in the pool. The snorkel is great as a starting snorkel it doesn't have quite the volume of air that I would like for doing laps, but it's adequate for trolling around on the surface. Most goggles you have to get to get a seal. These are so well made, you can get a seal while they are still dry. You can get even a better once wet. There is no leaking or fogging. The snorkel is great too. I spoke to the seller before the purchase. They were quick to response, understanding, etc. This has been a fantastic experience from start to finish.
