  • Very comfortable

  • Comfiest person at the baseball field!
Color: Black
This heated camping chair comes in a convenient, durable carrying case with a handle. It's a bit heavier than expected, but the chair is also bigger and a lot nicer than I expected. It's cushioned, comfortable, and very wide. I can easily sit cross-legged and still have plenty of room. It seems durable and well-made. The detachable pillow is also nice; it's the perfect height when I lay back. It can also be manually adjusted once you put your head back. I like to place the pillow just above my neck for extra support. It did feel a little stiff at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Due to my back pain, I'm thinking I might want to bring a small pillow for my lower back for additional support, especially if I know I'll be sitting for a while, but it's very cozy otherwise. There are several pockets on each side of the chair, including a couple zippered pouches. Note: as stated in the description, this chair does not include a power bank. It supports a heating function, but you need to provide your own bank. It has a USB port and states output power should be guaranteed at 5V 3A. Fortunately I have a couple, so I grabbed one from my heated vest that was within the output specs. The power cord comes out the right side of the chair by the armrest and there's a small pocket that appears it was intended to go in. Once charged, I connected the cord to the power bank, turned the power on, then pressed one of the buttons on the armrest for several seconds to activate that section. There are two buttons: one for the backrest and the other for the seat. Each has three heat settings Red= High, Blue= Medium, and Green= Low. I started on the lowest setting. The chair warmed up a bit but wasn't very noticeable (I'm perpetually cold and typically prefer higher settings anyway). Medium is where I could start to feel the heat. I felt it on the seat and upper back the most since that's where I had the most/heaviest points of contact with the chair. You can start to notice the difference pretty quickly as the temperature climbs. I found this to be a nice, relaxing setting. For the highest mode, it did feel warmer but not as much of a difference as I expected. I found that draping a blanket over my lap helped trap in the heat a bit more. The only thing worth noting is the armrests aren't really traditional armrests. It's a very narrow space with a thick seam that runs all the way down. I can still place my arms on it, but there's no flat surface to comfortably rest them, at least not for any length of time. That's not an issue for me because I usually keep my arms on my lap or somewhere close to my body. The heating areas aren't large. They don't cover the entire seat or backrest (mid to upper back and more towards the front of the seat), but I still felt it was enough. Any larger of a surface and the power bank would drain a lot faster. This chair has already come in handy at my boys' baseball games (a few people have asked about it and where they could buy one). I know I'll be getting a lot more use out of this and I'm very happy with it so far. ... show more

  • Worth every penny! So cozy! Getting another one
Color: Black
The chair is large and very comfortable to sit in. While it takes up more space both when it's open or fold it up it's absolutely my favorite camp chair. The chair itself is one large bucket, meaning there are no open panels where the wind is going to get in. The back and sides are high to help keep you protected. But it’s still easy to get in and out of the chair. You’re not sunk into a deep pocket like some other chairs. The material of the chair is nice and thick. It feels heavy duty and like it will last a long time. It also has built-in straps to help you hold the chair closed while you put it back in the bag. The bag is made of the same material as the chair and has a strap for carrying. There are several pockets on both sides for drinks, books, snacks, or whatever. There are also two zippered pockets to put things in. Be aware this chair does not come with its own power supply. You need to add a USB power pack to run this. I plugged in a power bank and it worked great. The amount of time you get from the heater will depend on the size of your power bank. There are two buttons for activating the heat. One button is for the seat and the other is for the backrest. Press and hold to turn each section on, and tap them to cycle through the three levels of heat available. I put a thermometer on the seat and after 10 minutes it had heated up from 75° f to 100° f. It would be very cozy on a cool evening. I would absolutely get more of these. ... show more

  • Great Chair but skip the heat
Color: Black
First Impressions of Slendor Heated Camping Chair Oversized, Padded Heated Chair Outdoor Sports, 3 Heating Levels Adjustable Camping Chairs for Adults with Pillow, Storage Bag,Folding Outdoor Chair, Black ★★★★☆ I am rating this chair 4.5 stars rounded DOWN to 4 stars - very sturdy, reasonably priced, comfortable, but the heat (just forget about the heat). Read on for details. My friends and I are all big people. At 6 foot plus and 250 lbs, I am the smallest of my friends. Our choices for folding camping chairs and other products such as cots, are typically limited due to weight/size capacity. As a Vine Voice, I’ve tested and reviewed nearly two dozen camping style folding chairs. What is unique about this chair is the size and high rated capacity of 200kg/440lbs – and also the heating element. In its storage bag, the chair stands above waist high. It is similar to all the folding chairs I’ve used in the past that stand up; but taller, bigger, and heavier. There is no assembly with the chair. Once it was pulled out of the bag, all I had to do was spread the legs open to expand the chair and arms apart. The seat, back, and headrest have thin discrete padding - which made a surprisingly BIG difference in comfort. There is a velcro attachable headrest pillow which I found more of a nuisance than useful. The chair is large and roomy, even for me. I don’t consider myself wide at the bottom (I wear 40 inch waist) and there was plenty of room to spare. I felt like a mouse cradled in a giant’s hand. The seating angle was more erect and straight up than I prefer. The frame is supposed to accommodate angling backwards a few degrees - but I found that whatever it did was negligible and made the chair sound rickety, due to extra joints moving around. I tested the heat in upper 50s temperatures. The chair has two separate heating elements, seat and back. The heat for each component, used about 6 watts each at 5 volts. With both seat and back turned on high, the heat used about 11 watts at 5 volts. There are three settings: High (red), Med (blue), Low (green). On the lower settings, the heat works by using energy (electricity) in a pulsed fashion - it will still draw 6 or 11 watts but in shorter bursts than full (red). Even in mildly cool temperatures, the high heat was hardly noticeable. If it is very cold or windy, I would just forget about the heat because it would be a waste of electricity. I tried the chair indoors and the heat was great. My friend who is about the same height (6’1) as me, but a good bit heavier (closer to 290), commented that he felt very comfortable sitting upright in the chair – and that the chair had enough comfort and stability where he could see himself working on his laptop in his lap. There is no doubt that this chair can handle a high capacity in size and weight. There are other chairs (some more comfortable and some less - from my tests) in the similar price range with similar weight limits - WITHOUT heating elements. Usually I round upwards for half stars but this time I rounded DOWN because, if I was shopping for a HEATED chair, I think I would be disappointed that the heat was imperceptible in cold or windy conditions. If I bought this without the expectation of heat, I would have rounded up and this would be a 5-star review. I don’t know if the heat can be improved but I hope to see one with more effective heat in the future. ... show more
