I like the fit and style of these Sketchers. The reason I bought this particular pair in August 2017 was because I had the exact same pair that lasted years under rigorous daily use. Unfortunately although these sneakers look and fits the same, the quality leaves a lot to be desired even though I have treated this pair more gently and wear them less frequently than the previous pair. Not sure if this is a one-off problem or indicative of diminished quality control in general but after about six months both soles started coming apart from the top part of the sneaker with the right sneaker being the worst (see attached photo). I wanted to inform the manufacturer directly and give them an opportunity to replace this defective pair but there doesn't appear to be any way to share feedback with them except through this public forum. ... show more

These are incredible shoes. I wore New Balance for years until their quality went down the tubes. It took a while to settle on this brand, but I'm sure glad I did! The shoes fit well, are very comfortable, breathable, look great, and stay clean looking with almost no maintenance. I love the memory foam on the inside. It holds up well and feels good around the toes, especially when you first put them on. I wear these all day to work and put on probably 4-6 miles per day walking. The only problem is that the soles wear out in about six months. This seems to be true of virtually all athletic shoes in this price range (at least, that I've found), so just be aware. In any case, they are inexpensive enough to replace as needed. I hope Sketchers continues to make these shoes at the same level of quality, because they are my go-to shoe from now on. Update: My last pair lasted exactly on year and still look good, but I replaced them anyway just because I wanted a different color. ... show more

I am revising my original review from a five star (based on the initial comfort level of the shoes) to a 1 star for durability. After VERY light use, in a very short span of time..........both my husband and son (I purchased two pair) have had the bottom of the shoe separate from the upper portion. I went back after that happened to them and read a bunch of the bad reviews on here....and sure enough, this has happened to many, many others. They are inferior quality glue on their shoes and it is causing a problem. People spend good money on these shoes and Skecher should be completely ashamed of themselves not addressing this issue by now. ... show more

    • Poor Quality Leads to Shoes Falling Apart - Do Not Buy!

I am very disappointed with the quality of these shoes. I owned a pair of these for years and when it came time to replace them, I figured I would just buy the same ones again. However, it appears that the manufacturing quality has gone down since the first time I bought these as the new pair we quick to start falling apart. After the first time wearing these, I noticed that the inner sole of the shoes were separating from the overall shoe (appears to be sewn on). I returned those thinking they were just "defective" and received a new pair of the same shoes. But after wearing this new pair, the same thing happened. Now I am stuck with a pair of new shoes that have already started falling apart after normal wear. These used to be great shoes and having worn my first pair for year until they needed replacement, I would have easily recommended them. However, based on the quality of the last pair of these shoes I received, I will not be buying from Skechers again and I would definitely not recommend these shoes as they will not last. ... show more

Right shoe completely un bonded from sole. June 25 delivered, return window closed Jul 25 and guess what fell apart 7 days later on Aug 2nd. Never had this happen with previous orders. Was hoping to return the product but that electronic window is closed and other than leaving a bad review I couldn't find a contact e-mail to discuss the 30 day plus 7 failure of what used to be fairly decent shoes. Will follow this up if i hear from someone. ... show more

My husband goes through sneakers very quickly because he's on construction sites most of the day. He has very sensitive feet, that are usually in pain. These are the 1st sneakers he ever freaked out about the first time he put them on! He says they're the most comfortable AND supportive sneakers he's ever worn. Plus they're affordable. I am a large guy, I weigh 350+ lbs. I stand 10 hours a day at work and walk nearly 8 miles daily while I am there. New shoes after a month wear out in my workplace. Between my size and the amount of use and wear these Sketchers get, they hold up nicely and very comfortably. I have tried other more expensive shoes, and adding shoe inserts, the gels, the $50 molded inserts from the kiosk in walmart, They help for some time, but after a month I either have to buy more inserts, or another pair of shoes. Every 4 months or so the memory foam in these shoes is no longer functional and starts to turn into a powder, and I go online and order another set. I have purchased multiple of these because they seem to last the longest while remaining comfortable. If you are not 6' 8" 350 lbs. and dont walk 15,000 steps in a day on hard concrete floors, These shoes will probably last longer. ... show more
