I have had many Skar products, all the way up to a Skar ZVX12v2 running on a Skar RP-2000.1D (2000 watts RMS) with all kinds of charging system upgrades. I don’t do competitions or anything, I just like loud music. Space is limited for me now, so I got a single IX series 10 inch sub in a prefab ported box. It hits hard and hits the lows with authority (running on 250w RMS). Very impressed with the output of this sub on such a small amp . Obviously as you go up the line with the Skar subwoofer lineup, the louder they are, but this one HITS very similar so the VXF 12 I had. Punchy and powerful. You’ll feel the bass. Good sound good value… kinda disappointed that this happened with a kicker 300 watt powering it. Just bought more SKAR equipment hoping for better results

Skar IX-10 D4-. I'm no expert by any means but I bought a bbox sealed subwoofer box, I mounted in there and it sounds good. The amp is a Crunch that claims 1000 watts @ 2 ohms, I doubt that but pushes it hard and amp doesn't get real hot.

Great sub for the money, as with any sub the box is the difference and mine was a bit small. Took a little while to break in but easily compares to a sub costing twice as much .
