I got these shorts in navy blue in a medium. I usually wear a small but looking at the size chart waist measurement I decided to go with a medium to ensure they'd fit. Also right now there aren't any other reviews to give advice about sizing for these shorts. I definitely would have been fine to go with a small but the medium doesn't look like a bad fit or too large. The shorts are very comfortable and the waist is very stretchy, similar to the way the waist on leggings would feel. The material below the waistband is not stretchy so it's probably a good idea to order these based on your hips measurement to be certain they'll fit your hips. The liner is very stretchy so if the shorts fit your hips the liner won't be an issue. I really like that the pockets have zippers! They're a decent size but not big enough for my Galaxy S22 Ultra phone which is about 6 inches tall. The shorts are well made and all sewing and seams well done. These shorts are lightweight, comfortable and breathable. The material is soft and offers a bit of a stretch to accommodate bending, pre-workout stretching and squats. I love the built in shorts, as I refuse to buy athletic shorts unless this is included. The fit is definitely a bit more high-waisted than I initially expected but I'm ok with it. In my opinion, the provided photos didn't reflect the high-waisted fit. I did order a large since I have large hips and butt, but truthfully, I should orderer a medium. This is my daughter wearing these shorts. We always use her measurements when ordering. These are true to size. She absolutely loves them. They have a clean, neat fit. The length is perfect. When laundered, they maintained their shape and color. The fabric is fantastic- no ironing necessary. The zipper pockets are awesome, and the waistline is flattering! I am very picky when it comes to my workout shorts and these shorts passed my test. The fabric is nice- thick enough to cover but not so thick that they're hot. I like the zipper feature- very practical. The length is also just right on me.

When I received these shorts, I came to find out there is a hole in the left pocket. Easy fix, but if I spend my money on something it should reach full quality. They are extremely long, not my style.
