Snaps on with a bit of force, but a real pain to get off. I've tried on multiple rails from BCM and Daniel Defense. Still extremely hard to remove. I have it to power a Rattler 356, the battery is great.

I bought this as a backup battery to keep me in the field. I primarily coyote hunt and I have this for a sight mark wraith 4k mini. The scope runs on 2-cr123 batteries which only last several hours in the field and are about 4 bucks each to replace. The backup battery works well and I have used it for about 8 hours on most nights. It mounts to the Picatinny rail on the rifle and I have it mounted on top. Does not interfere with the use of the scope at all. HOWEVER....it does add significant weight to the rig. If you are using a 16 inch barrel ar it will not be able to mount in a tripod as the battery sticks out to far on each side. it would be ok and a 20 inch barrel as there is more room to move it forward. I hand hold and shoulder fire this rifle and it does get heavy. While scanning for coyotes I use a u shaped tripod to rest it on which works well. Overall happy with the product. ... show more

    • Works, But Connection to 4k Sight is Not Ideal

I purchased this battery pack to extend the running time of my Sightmark Wraith 4k sight. The first charge took about 7 hours which is what I expected using the included USB A to Micro USB connector. The battery pack mounted snugly on the picatinny rail section I added to the top of the handguard. When mounted, it in no way interferes with the visibility thru the sight. My only complaint, and it is a big one, is that Sightmark does not include, or offer as an accessory, a cable to attach the battery pack to the newest Sightmark 4k model. The included cable does however connect the battery pack to previous generations of sights using a Micro USB inputs. To make it work with the 4k you can coil up the very long charging cable that is included with the 4k sight. The appropriate length aftermarket cable with a USB A connector on one end and a USB C connector on the other is about 10''. Although the battery is a bit slow to charge, it seems to power optics for a very long time. It works perfectly with my AGM thermal optic and the QD design makes it very easy to attach/detach. Very happy with this purchase.
